I like where you are going with this. The bee looks as if its a butterfly, if you could remove the dark blue wings, it might look better.
Can I see variations of the text? Maybe glossy versions? As well as a less san serif blocky font, more like the one I scanned in?

Can i see variations with a gradients from yellow to right from left -> right for the word "media".
the letters ME will be ONE color and the rest can transition from that color.
It will hopefully make it so you can read the ME as well as Media without the name sounding like "sow-mah-dia" but "so-media"
