I am disappointed to see you took down designs that used a more foot-like representation- was this due to trademark issue? I have not decided yet and would love to see those you took off contest.

My designs have no problem with trademark issue currently. I withdrawn most of them just because I thought that you were already not interested anymore with them. Frankly 30 designs for one contest is really massive for me. I consume so much times for them.
So, when you rank down my first rank to be six, I thought that's enough. I've do my best for your contest, and it may your turn to choose the best design for you.

On my opinion, as long as we can generate a unique footprint that differ from others, there are no trademark issues will arrise.

Secondly, regarding to "Hang Ten", it seems that they are in different industry then yours. I believe they have not enough reason to claim your "footprint" logo.
