Socialive @ ChambersLogo Design Contest

Hey Jonno,

I finally got some time to come up with a couple of designs for ya: #33, #34. I tried to keep things fun and "house music feeling", as opposed to jazzy or classical. I will see what else I can do to them to make them pop even more.

Let me know if either of these are heading the right direction or not, and we can go from there.

i like where you are heading with 33 and 34. Maybe play with a few other colours. Its going to be used a lot on posters so what colour do you think will jump off the page best?

Yep. I was just doing that as we speak: #36 lost the notes and got sleaked up a bit with some highlights and gradients.

Overall, gold/white on black is a great option. I've done a lot of concert posters with this color scheme. Another one that looks great is electric blue and white on black. I can throw that together quick just so you can see if you dig it or not...

Sure thing. It will take me a little longer to draw it and get it looking nice, but I can certainly get a Cheerfest-feeling design drawn up. Top 5 Mode will be starting in another day or so, so I should have it done by then or shortly into Top 5 Mode.

have you had a chance to come up with the design yet?

Yeah. Still working on it though... I am occupied most of today with a softball tourney, but I should be able to keep chugging away and have it done by Sunday.

I just realized I did "Socialize" instead of "Socialive, so I need to redraw the word portion quick! Sorry about that. If you want to see what it is going to look like though, check out #95 and pretend it says Socialive ;)

Also, I clearly had some color exporting issues with this one, as they are not as golden as yellow as before. So, I will edit that after I fix the wording...

Personally, I love it more than I love it more than my Cheerfest logo, but I will let you be the judge of that! ;)

Thanks again for your patience, as I drew/designed everything. I think it was worth the wait though. Hopefully this hits what you were envisioning in your mind.

It appears that you are going the more sophisticated and clean route. That's fine, so...

Let me know if you're not interested, and I will go ahead and withdraw #96 & #97 and see if I can find another contest to use them for. I spent the time, so I would like to use them ;)
