Thank you so much for you submissions; the talent shown by both you and your competitors is incredible. Unfortunately we have to start narrowing our decision, and some of the other designers have captured the direction we want for our design in a more perfected way. This is difficult because each of you is trying to create for us something we haven't seen before; we don't know if we'll like it more or less. You did a wonderful job; thank you again, best of luck in future competitions.

As the designer currently in first place, do you think there is a tasteful / effective way to incorporate a chess piece(s)? We have had history of the King, Queen, Rook in company imagery previously. It's not requirement, but it would be intriguing to see another version which incorporates one, to all, of those chess pieces in the left "S" element. It could take on the perception of a Coat-of-Arms, or Family Crest, for example. Thank you; great creative work so far!
I don't like "Snider Financial Group" spaced horizontally; application in print, media, and signage will get too limited. I need an image which fits in a narrower rectangular space.
I'm not a big fan of the ascending vertical bars on the left side of the design, nor the vertical line separating left and right elements of the design. I don't need the "byline" in the image; it gets a bit too wordy.
Changing the orientation from the current 1st place option gives a nice presence for different applications. This works very well in concert with the other horizontal rendition. I can't make my mind up on whether I like the "SNIDER" in gray in this design, or in blue in the horizontal design better. Nice development.
I'm really liking this in that the "S" element on the left can stand on it's own weight, and the "Name" element on the right also has the feel that I was initially imagining. Nice work.
