#1 Thank you for your entry, much appreciated. I like the colours you have chosen & how you have kept the overall design clean & crisp. I would prefer to stay away from a traditional footprint & perhaps use a sports shoe/basketball shoe should you choose to include an object in the design.

not a problem. Thanks for the feedback. I'll move away from this mark.

well it took a few hours but i really like the result. The mark can be separated from the text and used as a standalone. The text has also been customized to look rough and more street. Keep the feedback coming.

Hey, I really like what you've done here with Entries #25 and #26. I can see how you have embodied the 'S' with the shoe print but I think it gets a little lost when you look at the entire word. Could we keep the print as is, and incorporate an 'S' at the start of sneakz also.
This way we have a logo and the text to support it?
Just a thought, let me know if this doesn't make sense.

Hi,

Thank you for entries #38 & #39. The change in font looks good.
I have referred to my partner who is still not sure on the mark being an 'S.'
My partner also would like to move away from the black and yellow colour scheme. Could you please replicate these designs utilising red white & blue in the logo. Perhaps on a black background.

What do you think?

Thank you for your efforts to date, please keep up the good good.

Regards,

Paul

Sure thing. I will try move away from this concept after the color revisions in case its a direction you don't wish to head. Should have them for you tomorrow and thanks for the fantastic feedback.

Hi Again,

Was wondeirng if you could also provide Entry #1 without the toes above the 'S' as this could look quite fresh.

I have the variations you requested but after playing around with a new concept I finally got it looking like i wanted. The new variation is the letter S shaped like the back of a shoe, hope you like it, its my fav so far.

Entry #41 is very sharp & clean. I'm a big fan of this one.
Entries #40 & #43 I also really like, and would like to moderately merge the two in some way. Let me know if the following makes any sense. Keep the layout of Entry #40 with the 'S' shoe above the text. I prefer the 'S' shoe from Entry #43 though. Slight adjustment however, in that I would like the red splat removed from the top part of the 'S' shoe. The tongue, could you flip so that there is a downward arch from the top of the 'S' shoe like there is on many running shoes. You can possibly make this red to keep some colour.
The text itself, could you please make the 'S' in sneakz a little less harsh. I like the font but have concerns that new clients may confuse the 'S' for a 'G.'

Cheers

ok. Here are a couple of variations based on your feedback and some observations of some shoes. I have cleaned up the S and had to admit you were spot on with it presenting like a G. Hopefully this allows you to narrow down the layout/shoe and we can go from there. Again keep the gr8 feedback coming its rare we actually get a CH that knows what they like.,

i can also add a stripe down the back of the shoe or something similar to add further color if you think you may like that.

Hey Biink,

We're getting close with Entry #44.
Good adjustment with the 'S' in the text. I think this is much clearer now and less likely to be confused.
The logo/shoe just needs a minor tweak. Could you please remove the 'S' from the heel. Replace with a red keyline internal border in the top half of the shoe and place a small red dot in the centre (perhaps with a thin blue border). This creates a subtle 'A' inside the 'S' of the shoe. Does this make sense... Sneakz Australia?

If the above makes sense, could you do this and also the exact same but switch all red & blue over including Australia down the bottom so we can consider both options.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any clarification on anything.

Kind Regards,

Paul

Hey Biink,

Hope all is well with you. What did you think of the comment above, is it possible or does it not make sense?
Please let me know your thoughts...

Paul,

my apologies for not getting back to you I am OS at the present. I will have the variation for you ASAP and I love the idea, very clever. You seem to have deviated drastically from design with a mark...any reason? should i be headed in a new direction?

I'll upload as soon as I am finished tomorrow.

Hey Biink,

Good to hear from you! thought I had possibly thrown out too many suggestions and offended you unintentionally, apologies if this is the case.
I haven't really deviated from a design concept with a mark, but have had some interesting designs entered that have incorporated little concepts in the text (laces finishing off letters, shoes on letters etc.)

I like entry #160 i think it works better than #161 and #162 (even though that follows my exact request, hence why your the designer not me).

Cheers for coming back to me.

Not a problem Paul. You certainly didn't offend me. I was on a plane for around 13 hours and jet lagged after that so I assure you I wasn't avoiding you. This is your contest and you need to be happy with the result so dont be concerned about asking for variations. Thanks for being so polite. Hope this puts be back up there.

Hey Biink,

Undertandable, jet lag is bad enough travelling across the ditch let alone 13 hours. I assume you flew to LA? If so, often a terrible flight, not envious at all mate. Glad to hear that I hadn't offended you.

Thank you for your understanding with regard to variations. As mentioned, I havent neccessarily diverted from a design with a mark, however there have been some designs with features submitted which have caught our attention somewhat.

At this stage, I really like the mark in entry #160 but for some reason am waivering on the text font. Not sure what we can do from here, if you ahve any suggestions.

Paul

I am submitting a slightly cleaner version of your fav of mine. I dont think adding to this will do it any favors. It really just comes down to what you want to use the logo for. My designs have a mark which can be removed and used separately and possibly even animated for web and television. Text only logos arent quite as versatile but that may be what you are after. Good luck with the judging looks like it will be tough.
