Hi! Thank you! I don't care for the smiley face, something a bit more professional. I do like just the words with Portraits below and smaller. Can you play with fonts & colors?
#3 is nice looking but not my taste. I hate to say I am 'traditional' but I'd prefer more streamlined & sophisticated...I think! *sigh* It's a work in progress, right?
Thank you again! Let's see what a little tweaking does.

ok, I am liking this much better without the smiley. I actually really like what you have done for aLara Photography - I liked the loopy L. I don't mind a graphic as long is it's not the main attention grabber.
Any reason Snap and Happy are so far apart? Let's see something with a little more color. I know I said sophisticated...my main clients are moms. I'd like to be a little cutesy & trendy but not babyish or too feminine.

Thanks for the feedback. That's funny, my wife just got home & was looking at my latest entries with me & I just said to her "I think I put too much space between 'Snap' & 'Happy. Good catch!
Here is a revised design with a little more color as well...

:-)
what color is the Snap Happy? a goldish/brownish?
I don't have a letter that can be loopy like what you did for aLara, do I?
If you were to put a small/light color graphic anywhere, what would you do? just curious.

and what about try a different font for Snap Happy.
This is fun,
Thanks!

Yes, the snap happy is goldish.
I'll see what kind of 'loopy' font I can come up with...

really liking the look of #10! Let's see Snap Happy in red, leave portraits as is and the graphic a lighter version of the portraits brown. Would I be able to use a version of that graphic as my watermark on photos?
#11 top font is too wide but i really like the portraits font!

Thanks for the quick response! I'll be back again tomorrow.

Here is a revised version as requested. As far as using the logo as a watermark, we'd probably need to come up with a one color version, not sure how the swirls would turn out in a one color version.
Maybe the watermark could be just the letters & the logo could be used everywhere else.
Just thinking outloud..

Thank you! hmmm...is the red too bold of a color contrast you think?
Are the red letters 'fatter' than the previous purple example or have I been looking back & forth too long?

Logo Designer
I needed to add a brown outline to the red because it got lost in the background...

#14 I really like the Snap Happy font!

#20 clean & simple, I like it. How about a different font for Snap Happy? anything else 'loopy' you have in mind? I do like the font in #14 so other than that one.

Thank you!!

#28 loving this font! can I see it in #14 please?

Thanks!
When I look at #14 and #28 together, I think the font in #14 is easier to read. As much as I like the loopiness of #28....let me get a second opinion from a friend.

In #14, can you please show me a version with the left line of the box stretched a bit further to the left, maybe btwn the letters n and a? and darken the box and the word portraits please.
the red color in #28 appears to be a tad deeper, can I see the red of #14's font that color as well please?

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, here is the new version with the deeper red & elongated/darker shape...
Let me know,
Thanks

what is your opinion on the elongated shape? is there a designer reason to make it shorter? Is it simply preference or does it look too big to your professional eye?
I like the darker color better! Thanks!

Client
for grins, I'd like to see two other colors just to be sure red is the way I want to go. (#34 & #14)
green: asparagus
blue: columbia

for reference, I used these wiki shades
shades of green:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Shades_of_green

shades of blue:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Shades_of_blue

color change in #28 as well - in addition to one more font option.

Thanks!

Logo Designer
Well, the reason I had it shorter on the first design was to have the word 'portraits' centered
in the shape, but now that I take a better look, the shape is not quite centered on the 'Snap
Happy' words.
With the elongated shape, it is more centered on the 'Snap Happy' words & it doesn't bother
me that the 'portraits' word is off to the right within the shape. Also the elongated shape looks
more like the proportionts of a typical photograph & that works into what you do.
I don't think it looks too big, but we could make it a little bit lighter (1/2 way between #14 & #34)
that would put less emphasis on the shape.
Long story short, I like #34 better than #14 (my opinion)
Thanks for asking my opinion.

I'm so glad I asked your opinion bcuz you actually made me 'see' it differently!!
I hadn't noticed it was centering portraits but now that you point that out, my eye goes directly to the left side being longer.
This may not work but how about compensate for the difference on both sides. bring the left side in a tad and the right side out just a bit to make it the same difference on either side of portraits. I say it may not work bcuz the right side may align with the second p

I decided I don't like the green and I'm on the fence about the blue. I like it ok I just think I really like the red font.
Thank you for being so prompt on the tweaking.

Client
also meant to say, thanks for pointing out the elongated shape looks like the proportions of a photograph - hadn't thought of that!!!

Logo Designer
I think I MAY have solved the problem by adding more space to 'portraits'
Now everything is centered...

#63 like the 'stack'!
#64 after seeing it for several days with portraits closer, it's hard for me to see it down a bit!

let me come back to it in an hour an look again. I liked how portraits was btwn the bottom of the two p's. Not sure how I feel about the p in snap btwn the p & o in portraits.

THANKS!

Client
also...can you make the left line a bit thinner please? It's just really standing out to me slicing thru the n and the a.

Thank you!

Client
#74 I like the portraits positioned btwn the p's but not the left line going thru the a

the lighter color is better, thank you!

I interrupted the left line so the letters stand out more...
