I wanted to visualise the bull into the logo, so I choose to make a skin-like-font. The ring (which bulls normally have in their noses) is next to a elegant joke a symbol for the steps ("analyse, think and act") that Skip The Bullshit takes before coming to a product/service. A little arrow under the B points at the slogan "Strategy into action".

Hi Jelmer!

Thanks for your design #17 :-) We are very excited about this design, we think it has a lot of potential :-)

A few comments.

1. You have a lot of ideas woven into the logo. People who don't have all these creative rationales in their head like you won't get it. Maybe you can make it a little less chaotic? People should understand what you mean without all the explaining.
2. We would like te see "Skip the Bullshit" somewhere in the logo. It doesn't have to be the centre of the logo, but it is what STB stands for, ergo important.
3. It looks "Strategy into action" isn't really a part of the logo, but rather just put there because it has to be.

Good luck! :-)

We also have a request, we are very curious about what you would do with logo #4 ? Could you make something like #4 in your own style?

Could you try to put the text "Skip The Bullshit" in the white border of the circle? That would be awesome!

We are looking forward to it :-)

Cheers!

the (shitting) bull has been stylized into the text.

Hi Jelmer!

Thank you for your new design #30 :-)

Unfortunately it isn't what we are looking for. I always say, you must be able to use the logo as a tattoo, and this isn't the case for #30. It isn't professional enough. We need a raw but stylish logo.

#17 on the other hand is more what we are looking for. We even put it on number one because we love the style. But again, it isn't something I would have tattooed on my arm. It isn't sharp and stylish enough. #17 has enough of the raw though ;-) Maybe you could give #17 a more professional look, something like #33 without losing the raw feeling? Simplify some stuff, make it more a logo then a graffiti piece, but again, not to stylish.

We are looking forward to your interpretation.

Good luck and have fun.

Hey Stephan,

Groet,
Jelmer

STB skips the bullshit and goes straight to the meaning of the case they have been given. There for the round has been made in the shape of a crosshatch (the seeker from a gun). To make it stronger the middle of the circle has been made in a dart board (with in the centre the bullseye). The above part from the crosshatch has gotten horns, with a stylized skin. I simplified some of the STB logo I made before. The whole concept pretty much has the feeling of "action" = "strategy into action".

Two variations on the previous one.

Hi Jelmer,

Thank's a million for all the work you put into the logo's. Unfortunately these logo's don't work for us either. Off course you are welcome to add more logo's, but we just found out that we are looking for an other style.

Kind regards,

Stephan

Thanks stephan, But i'm not gonna ;-D!

The $300,- isn't tempting me enough to put any more work in it. I wish you a lot of success with the rest of the contest. Hope you going to get an amazing logo :-D!
