Six Hour SundownLogo Design Contest

Hello #5, this is my concept draft, the concept is make the icon simple so it will be memorable and easily recognized. The icon is a sun descend into horizon.. the sun itself could be seen as number six just like name of the band.

Hope you like my concept, I will worked on a more polished version of this.

Hi Riza,

Can we see what it looks like without the square please? There are actually 5 members in the band but we're not worried about the stripes symbolising members the members so six is fine.

#42 A wing that also could be seen as initial SHS hidden within it, left part of the icon could be seen as either [ 6 ] or [ S ] .

Thanks Riza, we much prefer the no.18 and 19 without the square.

We like entry 42, the only negative is that it looks a little dated, it has a similar feel to it as Van Halen's logo. We are a young band ranging from our early to late 20's so we want something a bit more contemporary. Is there anyway of changing it up a bit so it feels more modern?
