Hello, uta, Thank you so much for submitting these designs. For Entry #11, could you submit a separate entry and change the colors to red and blue, instead of orange and blue? In this second version, could you make the two dotted curved images look a little more like an "S"? For Entry #10, could you change the colors to red and blue? Thank you! :)
Dear uta, Thank you so much for your prompt reply. The changes to Entry #13 and #14 look wonderful. I will talk to my business partner about them. If we have any other requests, we'll let you know right away. We still have a little over a day before the contest ends. Thank you again, and have a great evening.
Dear Uta, You are quite welcome. We really like your design. Now that we are in the last phase and getting ready to make a final decision, would you mind changing the colors of Entry #13 and #14? We have decided to avoid the red and blue because it is a bit U.S.-centric and we'd like our business to appeal to an international clientele. Blue and yellow, or blue and gold would be nice, but please feel free to submit a couple of color ideas. I am sure you have wonderful taste and a great eye for color. We are looking for bright colors, such as the ones you had sent before. We'd like to avoid pastels, and green brown or grey. Also, would you mind submitting a version of Entry #14 where the two "i"s connected by the dots look a little bit like a little person. They can be simple, almost like the letter "i", but we'd like to see that effect of us connecting two speakers via our service. That's one reason why we chose your #14 entry. We liked the connection idea. They could also be connected by arrows, if you like. In simultaneous interpreting, a lot of times two arrows pointing in each direction signify two-way communication. The interpreter is in the middle (perhaps the faded end of each arrow in the middle of the arch) and the parties talking to each other are on either end (perhaps the point of each arrow in a more solid color pointing to each person). Again, please just see this as a suggestion. You are the artist and we trust your vision. Don't make too much work for yourself. For us, simpler is better too. Thank you so much! Have a great day. :)
Dear Uta, Thank you for your new submissions. We wanted to get away from the blue/orange combination (perhaps I should have told you why before). It reminds my business partner of the Denver Broncos, a football team which is very popular in the U.S. (https://plus.google.com/u/0/105846637640159944390/posts). That's why we wanted to try blue/yellow or blue/gold instead. We like the shade of blue you picked for entry #79. Could we try Entry #81, Entry #82 and Entry #79 with a blue/yellow or blue/gold combination? It can be the shade of blue you have selected for #79 or a different one. We like a "strong" blue (the one for Entry #78 is a little "softer" to us). Thank you so much! :)
Dear Uta, Thank you for Entry #86. We like your original font better (Entry #79). Could you try one more thing for us based on Entry #79? Could you try two different shades of blue, instead of blue/yellow or blue/gold (strong blues)? Thanks again!
Dear Uta, Thank you for your messages. The font type looks great on Entry #94, and we also like the position of the logo beside the word "SimulDirect", just as you have it. We will be making a decision in just a few hours. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Dear Uta, Thank you for the last designs you have submitted. I think we have enough to make a decision. We appreciate you making all the modifications we requested. We will make a decision soon. Have a great day. :)
Hello Uta, Thank you for your last designs. Would you be able to make one last change for us? I hope you can send it in on time. Could you change Entry #94 to make the yellow color a green color instead? That way the lower ring and the word Direct would be green. A strong, modern shade of green that would match the tone of blue you already have would be great. You have a wonderful eye for color! Thank you so much, Uta! :)
Hello again Uta, What do you think about this shade of green? Or, the green gradient from this picture? Would that go with the shade of blue you have now? Or perhaps an "emerald" green? Thank you so much! All my best...
Dear Uta, Thank you so much for your new entries. The black and white entry gives us a better idea for other media. We have narrowed down our options a lot (since we are in the last part of this phase). Only two designers are left at this point. Could you make the color for Entry #140 a bit brighter (perhaps with less of a gradient)? The "tail" for the yellow arrow has started to turn into a bit of a brown color and it's not as easy to see when the image is smaller (the color is darker) . We have decided to go with the yellow/blue combination and we like the idea of "movement" with these arrows. However, the yellow needs to be bright enough, even if it moves a little towards the orange. You know what works best with the blue shade you have chosen, so we'll leave it up to you. My associate does not mind a strong yellow going a bit towards an orange now, as long as it's bright enough and not a "red" orange (he doesn't like the "Denver Broncos" orange). Also, could you change the position or curve of the arrows so they look a little more like an "S"? The arrows are a little two "pointy" and there's a white line which separates the "triangle" head of the arrow. Could we see a version where the arrow head is not "broken up" by that line? Again, thank you so much for your hard work. Best regards. :)
Hello, Uta, Thank you very much for submitting these additional entries. We like the new color and the shape of the "S". We appreciate your promptness and wonderful designs. All our best.
We wanted to thank you for your designs and hard work. It was a pleasure working with you. After consulting with multiple users and potential clients, we opted for another design but want to let you know that we were very impressed with your work. Good luck with your future design projects and thank you for working with us.
