Dear Andrei,
We really like your designs. Thank you for your submissions. We think they are modern and fresh-looking. We liked Entry #55 because of the shine and "technology look" to it.
Now that we are in the last phase and getting ready to make a final decision, would you mind changing the colors of Entry #55? We have decided to avoid the red and blue because it is a bit U.S.-centric and we'd like our business to appeal to an international clientele.
Blue and yellow, or blue and gold would be nice, but please feel free to submit a couple of color ideas. I am sure you have wonderful taste and a great eye for color. We are looking for bright colors, such as the ones you had sent before. We'd like to avoid pastels, and green brown or grey.
Also, would you mind submitting a version of this entry where the oval is a little straighter, to look like a person's head? We got the idea because of the red color you put on either side of the oval; so we thought we could make this look like a little head with earphones (simultaneous interpreters use earphones all the time). Perhaps the earphones could be connected on top of the head by the typical headset band (although we could still keep the "S" inside); or perhaps you might want to make it look more like a head (without the "S" inside), but still non-descript and modern-looking.
Again, please just feel free to use this as a suggestion. You are the artist and we trust your vision. Don't make too much work for yourself. For us, simpler is better.
Thank you so much!
Have a great day. :)

Hello,

I've upped two more versions. I'm glad you liked the dynamic techy feel and that you also found a concealed meaning to the logo - that's always a plus.

PS: Personally, I love the new colors.

Thank you,
Andrei

Love them, Andrei!
Actually, now I like the "head" that's tilted even better (Entry #87).
Would you mind trying one more thing? Tilt the "head" a tiny bit more to the right in Entry #87 (but still more tilted than Entry #88) and connect the "ears" with a thin band over the "head", so it looks like the little "man" is wearing a headset?
Thank you so much. I'll go rank it right now. :)

Hi,

Sorry 'bout the delay. I've upped a few more variations based on your feedback.

Thanks!

Dear Andrei,
Thank you for sending the last designs. Could you please make one last change? (I hope you can send it in on time). Please use Entry #88 (because it's almost straight) and just connect the earphones as you did in Entry #144... and make the oval a tiny less elongated (so the "head" of the character looks a little shorter).
Thank you so much! :)

Dear Andrei,
We have decided to go with something more abstract this time. However, we wanted to send you a short note to thank you for your brilliant design, and for your willingness to make modifications per our instructions.
You are a wonderful designer... and it was a pleasure working with you in this contest.
We will keep your information handy, in case we require your services in the future.
All our best,
SimulDirect

I figured as much. :) If you want my e-mail address to ask for quotes on possible future design and/or programing of any sort, please feel free to PM me after you've completed your contest.

Thanks,
