Happy to hear it :) good choice, I'm also really happy with the outcome. I'll be preparing final files just now and will upload them shortly. Thank you!
Sure, I just uploaded new ones. I know you asked me to move the logo to the right of the wording, but I also uploaded examples with the graphic on the left just so you can compare. I also changed the font in both name and tagline to one that can be easier to read. Also, in some of them I changed the color of the tagline from black to grey. Let's see if we are closer :) Thank you for all the feedback :)
also, i'd like to make a slight tweak to the wording....i'm not sure if you can see the submissions from others, but the general opinion was that you had the best graphic, but people tend to like the wording font/layout of the second choice best..
Couple suggestions please....this logo will be displayed primarily in a horizontal space....so I would like move the graphic that is currently on top, to the right of the wording. The graphic appears to be taller than the wording (both lines), so the the wording should be spaced vertically so that it is in the middle....if that makes sense
So, I added more options to choose. This particular one is quite interesting because although it is sans serif font, it's got round edges, which works well with the icon above. As for the ornaments on both sides of the tagline, I must say I don't think it's a good idea. The reason why I think that is that the logo mark is already a some sort of an artistic ornament, and adding more ornaments within text will take too much attention. I would suggest something simpler and lighter like the dots in this one. I think this is making the tagline look a bit like a plate which works very good with wood. What do you think?
Sure, I'll try to find a solution to that, I might even come up with some other fonts just so you can compare. I'll upload new ones by morning (it's already midnight here in Scotland) if that's ok with you :)
btw, of all 80+ logos (design element), I think yours is the best...a competing logo has a better "script" portion, and currently has a more complete feel (overall)..but you should be able to work out the balance...thnks
I like this font best...the contrast between bold and non-bold isn't as great, but it looks more balanced....
the only question I have is on the bottom line...how do you balance it with the width of the SIMPLY SOLID line....I don't think making the font larger is the key, ans the fonts appear balanced..but perhaps some type of "ornamentation" on the left and right side...nothing too fancy...but something that ties into the font in the logo.....is that possible?
Thank you for the feedback :) It does help. I just uploaded 4 new versions, 2 of them based on the initial top part of the logo, and the other two with the top part adjusted so match the new font used. The previous one was far too masculine in contrast with the logo mark, you're right. I'm really happy with the latest two, way more balanced then before. Please take a look and give me your thoughts. Thanks!
that's fair...the logo portion is great..balanced, artistic....no issues...the bottom portion is where i think it could be improved...I don' think the horizontal lines are necessary, and it would clean it up to remove them...also, the script in bottom section might be soften a little...play with it to see what looks right (and balanced), but I would suggest making only "SOLID" bold, and making "SIMPLY" normal font...also, increase the font size of "SOLID WOOD FURNITURE" so it is easier to read, and make it lower case...again to soften it....to me, the top portion (logo) looks feminine and the bottom portion (wording) looks masculine....but if you soften the bottom portion I think it'll flow better....I hope this helps...
Hi there, is there anything I can do to improve this design? It seems that I was the first to introduce such concept so it would be great to have a chance to make it better. Best regards. :)
