#26 - Going along with you theme of simplicity, I kept the colors to a minimum and tried to stay elegant with the font choice. I used the loop of the "P" to give an effect of "tying the tie."
Let me know if you want to see any changes. Thanks!
Thank you for your submission. I really like it just the way it is. But can you try one with some color. And add some subtle detail on the"P" tie tail, like 2 or 3 diagonally stripes.
Sure thing. I will work on it first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, I need to be away from my computer for the rest of the night. Thanks for your patience!
#51 is my favorite. Can you some how incorporate your clever "tie play" into the "S"? I like how you do it so subtly. Because I would like the "S" to be use independently on our products as well.
Can you change the "TIED" to red? I want to see how that would look.
please see #61. unfortunately, another designer has already used the concept of a tie as the letter "S" so i can not use that concept because it belongs to them. I will see if there is something different that i can do with the "S."
Not unless he completely withdraws his designs. Sometimes when people get eliminated, they end up withdrawing but as long as he keeps his designs in its still his concept. I will keep brainstorming but I just dont see what else could be done with the S except have a tie on either end of it. Sorry.
Help me understand, because one designer used the "S" tie concept no one else can attempt one. Let's say if we decided to adorn the tie with polka dots or a geo-metric pattern instead of stripes.
The issue is the creative rights of the designer. The concept of a tie coming from the S is the creative concept that comes from that designer so we respect each others work. If someone comes up with a certain idea, it is not right that I should take his idea and simply modify it because it was his creative thought that he put into it. For example, no one can use the P as a tie because that was my idea. We have a serious problem on these sites with designers coming in and modifying someone else's idea and trying to steal the prize. That's why we have Logo Court to deal with such issues. I hope that makes sense.
Let me PM the designer and see if he has an issue with me using a script S like i did in #62.
I'm pretty confident that you'll make it into the top 5. Could you work on a emblem? Either involving the "S" & "T", or something else creative. I'm looking for something simple, subtle, classy, distinct, unique (sorry for all of the adjectives) not overpowering. I just want to see how one would look, you can unviel it during the top 5.
Going to try to get some new ideas by this afternoon but even if I can't don't worry we still have top 5 phase to work with. Thanks again for your patience. I am just out of town celebrating my anniversary.
I like the creativity, but it doesn't flow with what you've already created. The change in font is such a major deviation. Keep trying I have faith in you. The emblem's look, thought and feel should flow seamlessly to the logo.
I have another idea but i havent been able to work on it fully because i am still out of town with family but will definitely upload before the end of the contest. Also while in judging mode the 1st place designer can submit variations to any of their already submitted concepts. I basically want to take the emblem that i uploaded and try to make it work with some more traditional serif fonts.
In #180 I tweaked the current 1st ranked design and in #181 i tried to come up with an "ST" lettermark. Let me know what you think. Sorry it took so long.
I prefer the "P" in #61 over #180. Can you incorporate the emblem of #181, with font and uppercase of #61. Can you not add stripes on the tie because someone else used them?
Yes, I can use stripes because it was your suggestion so its open to everyone. The font in #61 was a bit thin so I used something similar. What do you think of #182?
I like it. Can you use incorporate "P" from #61 into #182. I am going to use the emblem and the logo seperately, very rarely will I postion them together on the product.
I've received feedback from my family and friends on the top 5. Unfortunately, your logo was a consistent third. Your submission was my favorite and I really enjoyed working with you, but I can't deny what over 50 people have said.
Thanks. If you want the tie worked into the actual D I do have concept #53. If there are any other modifications I can do, just let me know. I really thought I had this won!
