This is closer to what I am looking for. Simple and modern. That being said, I'm not sure what the white slice is, but it's much closer to the modern, simple look I'm going for. Just needs to make sense too.

Your designs are good genrobo but they are too literal in using the old logo. I want something simple that is good for embroidery too. This wouldn't work for that.

This is too much like the original. Again, just want a subtle callback to the original logo but more modern. Look at the examples I posted in the comments.

I don't mind it, however, it looks a little childish with the waves at the bottom. You are by far the best designer thus far, and the only one who is sort of "getting it". This isn't screaming modern to me and it doesn't have to physically be a lighthouse but would like some form of callback to current branding.

I like this in general, but there is no reference to our previous logo at all, which I'd like to have.
