I thought the simplicity of a single cup added sophistication. The steam for the word "sí" kinda makes the image playful. Any feedback/suggestions you have are more than welcome! Thanks!
Hi Josh, Thanks for your message! I love your entries. They are so imaginative and exotic. For my purposes, the reasons I didn't rank them higher are: #47 gives me an Asian/Japanese feeling, whereas what I'm going for is distinctly European. Also, in all three of them the cup is too large and overpowering. I'm going for a very high-end, chic look. In all products (not just coffee), the smaller something is, the more special it seems (think of diamonds! The best things come in little packages). It's very strange how people associate smallness with high quality. Also, there is too much brown in each of the logos. I don't want a large block of one color, but rather a playful mix of the two main colors in ways that are visually stimulating (like the way a solid brown shirt and a solid lavender skirt isn't as nice an outfit as one that has touches of brown and lavender in several different places).
Take a look at the ones ranked first and second, and try to achieve the same thing with your own personal style. Also, remember the top 8 or so have about the same chance once I put the entries in front of my family.
