This new set of ideas plays off of the typography of another classic show-business type treatment--somewhat vintage, mixed with a contemporary, cutting edge feel.
These layouts also make the logo and the slogan flexible. If the logo needs to be displayed very small, or when the slogan isn't needed, it is easily removed for clarity.
These logos use the classic font, Bodoni, for the "Showtime" text, which carries with it the idea of show business, avant garde boldness and classic design. This is juxtaposed with a simple Arial for "Realty Group," which adds stability and business. The stars subconciously elicit the idea that this business has a five-star rating, along with alluding to the idea of "showtime."
The other entries essentially follow the same concept, but with varying layouts/type treatments.
