Thanks to everyone for their submissions. Most have come in a bit more masculine than I was looking for. So far #8 & #9 give the best place to begin. Some comments on these two specifically that might help with other submissions: 1) instead of placing the pheonix within a circle I would like to see something similar to the pheonix in these two examples (minus the circle) with the "fire" at the phoenix's feet elongated/rounded out so it is more pronounced and looks more like a nest of fire. 2) Instead of oranges and yellows I was looking more toward scarlets and gold 3) I also like the rounded/softer countors of #6 if perhaps these could be woven into the overall concept and incorporating a pheonix.
