Shirley's K-9 KlipperyLogo Design Contest

I like your idea, but you don't necessarily know its about dog grooming, could be vet...is it possible to put some sort of grooming spin on it. Maybe making the y in scissors?

here are some changes. I can get rid of the bubbles if you don't like them. I have to use the scissors differently so I hung them on the y, let me know if I can make any changes, thanks.

Can you make the y into scissors?

I wish I can but another designer has that idea, I can't copy them...unless you originally posted a picture of it.

thats too bad, by having the scissors beneath it it makes the logo very long, i'd be afraid the scissors would get lost in tshirt printing etc
what about putting shirleys k9 klippery in a bath tub so the dog/cat are holding the side of the tub?

I have reopened the contest for another couple of days.
I do like where you are going but there is just something i'm not to fond of. Is it possible to get a smaller basic verion for different things that look like my "logo" but is simpler. I have also been toying with the idea of just focussing on the K9 Klippery or Pet Spa, instead of Shirleys. I'm not a huge fan of the name but its well known around town.I want to try to rebrand it without changing the name. I'm looking for something memorable, simple, and straight the point not cutesy or corny. If you could do something for me i would appreciate it.
