I've placed my atlas upon the globe. I think it is actually true that the myth/legend of atlas holding the globe is only because it was illustrated that way in the first Atlas world map book and subsequently been seen that way ever since. Whilst the real mythological Atlas holds up the heavens above the earth. Ever way this does support placing the globe below atlas to convey the global presence your seeking in your logo.
