Hi, here's a first sketch of what I would call a "modern vintage emblem". I recreated the "old school" emblem style using the ribbon and the "paper badge". I used a good mix of modern and vintage looking typographies to get the information clear and punchy. Also, I putted a little gradient in every parts to make the colors a bit more catchy and fresh. I kept it simple to make it easier to recognize.
Well, I hope you like it!
Give me some feed back of what you think and how I could make it better for you!
Alex, Thanks for the entry! Without getting into it too much, I think that style of design is pretty dialed in with our first two entries.
I do however really like your organic soft serve text, and your shakes cones text. The ampersand is not our favorite.
It's also a little dark for our taste. We do have someone in our camp that would love to see a cool words only version. If you wanted to play with that, there could be some way to rally around it! use this webpage as an example...top right is their logo: http://www.hopdoddy.com/
Thanks for the feedback! #106 is a totally new approach. I went with the same fonts, except for the ampersand. I kept the feel of the ancient one using the same ringed description to envelop the name of the business. I putted gradient in the letter's colors to keep the modern style I described before.
