My email is devone1@cox.net. Please let me know the best way to send you the money. Venmo, Paypal, Zelle? Also, are you able to provide me a logo design transfer of rights like Logo Tournament provides? Not sure I need it but might if I apply for a copyright or trademark?
Great - thank you. And please let me know how much it would cost for me to buy those and whether I am able to make payment through this platform or through another payment method.
Or if the pick needs to be black and the images white, I guess we just need a border and/or some depth so the pick will show when put on a black t-shirt (the most common color for band shirts).
Sure. Look forward to seeing what it looks like in black and white. Google "white celluloid guitar pick" to see what I was trying to describe for the light color of the pick. While I love the colors you used, that may not work against the various backgrounds we would be using it with so may need to have it in black and white too. I will message you when the contest is over to discuss further. Thanks.
I am happy that you still want to buy the pick part of the logo. I will upload the black and white version. Maybe you can message me after the contest is finished so we can talk about it. Thank you
Can you show me what the pick would look like in black and white - which I think would mean making all the images black and the pick a light color with some depth (like an iridescent pearl)? And wondering whether even if your design is not the Winner what it would cost to perhaps just buy the files for the pick and not the whole logo?
Cool. Love the dude head in the U. Font is better but still not grabbing me....Maybe just have colors on bottom and a gradiant of the red progressing down from darker to lighter on bottom.
Love the way the pick looks! Interested to see what it looks like without the white internal border. Don't love the font for the band name - too bubbly, graphic? And don't love the colors orevery letter being a different color.
I like the pick more with band name out of it as that got very busy. Maybe now though make the chains of the scale a little more visible? Would be nice to see a few more variations of fonts for the name in this direction.
Another band member commented that he did not like the font (hard to please a group!). Maybe less hand drawn, more standard, toning down color palette and bringing the guitar/med/legal image more into background if possible?
Fun font for the band name. Not sure I love the colors. Maybe more primary (which probably means changing background)? Also, since you put full band name above scale, it doesn't need to be off center. If even, try two shot glasses in each side. If uneven try a "full" shot glass on lower and "empty" shot glass on higher. The band always takes a shot of something together before playing.
Another possibility maybe is to extend the image up and down and move the band name into a banner of sorts at an angle (which would require offsetting the scales maybe? Perhaps put a shot glass in the lower (weighted down) scale. I am not sure how any of this translates for you but just trying to provide as much feedback as I can.
Nice improvement. The font for the band name still doesn't hit me right. And would be better if words were same scale (probably means Several has to be smaller cuz of pick shape).
Also, the scales may be too prominent. The law/medical thing is a cool subtext of the band. maybe play with making it more background somehow instead of jumping out so prominently as white?
Thank you for the feedback, i will upload again a new design with your prefer changes. And i will try to put some fun into the logo. By the way, cool band you have there.
I was concerned going this route (the lawyer/doctor thing) would be too boring/corporate looking compared to the “dude art” we are used to (see www.severaldudes.com) but this is interesting. My first impressions of of things to change are: perhaps make the circle the shape of a guitar pick, remove the round base below the guitar, and I don’t love the font for the band name. Want to evoke fun, groovin, rock and roll music. Not sure the 2 circles on each side add much?
