Okay, getting down to the wire. It's close. How about the bottom is green (not black) and the green arc is shorter, and there is a white division between blue and green?
It's interesting. Not sure about the font, but good for now. Could you make the green arc less round (not straight, but a slight curve). Also, on your logo "two dads and a gram" you have those people in white silhouette. Could you put into the logo a silhouette of a pine tree, offset to the left, as if its planted on the earth (which is what the green line represents) and extend it into the soil (which is the black part) and show the bottom of the tree as an arrow pointing down? Make sense? And maybe on the left, in the blue part, you could put something else, like a white silhouette of a hill or mountain, maybe a couple houses (hamlet) tucked in there? Not too busy, but showing something. Check out: https://tinyurl.com/y64xrgd3
You're on the right track with your logo but it looks a bit out of sorts. Could you try the same design with blue on top (like you already have) but use green instead of black to cut through your circle? Then use black on the bottom.
Looks pretty good. Can you try a different font (or fonts). This one seems to spread out (too much white space between letters). Also, adding a little serif to the fonts might look good. And for the logo, can you do blue on top, green line, then black under?
