Try looking at the new "KENZO" logo in the spike jonze add it says "paris" in the O I like the letters they use.

i like how the K looks like this: <
maybe try making it bigger than the rest of the letters, and play with the colors, making only < black or white, and the rest of the letters the other color.

I like this, its simple. try using just white for the letters. Also add a black background so we can see the effect.
