brightened it up and improved contrast, as well as giving a little more dimension to the ring and the string, by using old Russian Poster colors and adding a bit of shadow and gradation. Didn't want to add a lot of detail, because I think it's simplicity in conveying the idea and it's boldness are what make it a strong logo. If you have ideas you would like me to try (a different font or some addition or subtraction, please let me know and be as specific as to what changes you would like to see as possible, and I will work on getting you a new entry containing those changes.
