rendraG - Thank you for your help here. I appreciate all the time and effort you put in to this logo. This was a very unique design - I just couldn't commit to it, and for no particular reason.

I've used a slightly bolder version of the font for the 'Family Dentistry' and made it the same colour as 'Seaside'. I've also reversed the background graduation - is this what you meant by 'low light'?

I think I like this one best in the recent submissions (299). I feel we still lose Family Dentistry - It's the same shade as the reflection.

I know we are using the extremely subtle yellow - can we use a low light style instead?

Yes... I used the pale yellow colour from the swatch in your attachment for the background. I'll start work on a revision with richer colours now.

Does this have a yellow tint to the background coupled with a light grey sun and reflection. Can we use richer colors for the text to allow it to pop out a little more?

It's just after midnight here and I'm about to log off. I'll work on these variations first thing tomorrow.

I do like this idea - let's take the color out of the sun - make subtle with the reflection and try to give the seaside family dentistry some color

Looking at the image as you would (i.e. at 350 x 280px), I'm not sure how clear the gull's reflection is. If you like the idea in principle, but can't see it clearly in #204, I'll upload a different version.

The reflection gave me the opportune its to subtly develop the tooth using the reflection of the gull.

Can we put a little color into it - something subtle.
Another variation may putting the water horizon and the reflection effect back in - however very subtle and possibly behind the lettering - like a watermark? It may too distracting, but it would be fun to see

So far I like this one the best - it gives the lettering a softer, more gentle feel. I will continue to think about it to see how we can enhance it

I see what you mean! Very subtle!! For the fun of it - can we play with the font a little - something a little more young and fun, but still professional?

The bird in the earlier entries was meant to suggest a tooth without being too obvious. This variation is a little more tooth-like.
