Your ability to show light in your work is fantastic. I put the finalists work to survey vote on Facebook - and the one was chosen. That is why I picked it. Your was the personal favorite of mine - I really liked the way you were able to get the prom and light post effect in the design. It brought a more personal touch to the logo. Again thank you - If I want to purchase from you I will message you!! 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #407 Withdrawn Hi, Let me know if maybe you want to bought my design, you can send me a pm Thanks! 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #408 Withdrawn This is isn't working for me - it now looks more like a lighted candle - i think we lose the purpose of the light here 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #406 Withdrawn And then I don't think the single light post works either - 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #407 Withdrawn and your ability to depict light is amazing 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #407 Withdrawn Unfortunately I think I have to go away from the lighthouse option - we do have a very small light house here in Seaside, but it is not has robust and cool as this one is here. You designed a very impressive lighthouse - this style is very good as well. I seem to go for this style 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #407 Withdrawn Update with lighthouse 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #328 Withdrawn Thank you 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #328 Withdrawn Agreed 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #327 Withdrawn This with gray low light 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #325 Withdrawn I prefer the black lowlight for the railings Wait, Let me help you to make the comparison 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #324 Withdrawn Beautiful 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #325 Withdrawn Do you prefer it with the black lowlight for the railings, etc. or do you like the gray lowlight. My wife and I disagree. Also can you place the line around Family Dentistry like you did on 319 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #324 Withdrawn Done, with the light more subtle 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #319 Withdrawn Update #323 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #221 Withdrawn Can you make the light effect even more subtle - barely noticable. 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #319 Withdrawn or at least the dark grey for the lettering that was the background for 315 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #319 Withdrawn What about using a dark rich blue/grey for the lettering? 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #318 Withdrawn I don't think the blue works either 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #314 Withdrawn adding some color somehow is great for an accent though 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #314 Withdrawn I don't think peach is the to go!! 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #315 Withdrawn The white text definitely pop here! can we dry more of a darker grey for the watermark rather than black - 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #314 Withdrawn Trying with some color 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #313 Withdrawn love it! Can you think of any other ways to enhance? 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #313 Withdrawn option 2 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #312 Withdrawn Here is the new changes 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #311 Withdrawn can you also make the light portion of the post the same shade as the watermark? 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #311 Withdrawn I love watermarks!! 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #311 Withdrawn That looks great!! Sorry I haven't been able to respond much today so far - this is probably my favorite so far with the prom style. You could even make the I a little larger if you eliminate the small rectangle on top of the square. Can I see it without the light effect as well? 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #311 Withdrawn Here is with watermark the railing 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #274 Withdrawn How about this one? 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #201 Withdrawn Hi, Any other suggestion please.. Thanks! 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #271 Withdrawn Here is the changes 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #224 Withdrawn So I like the "I" in 223, coupled with subtleness of the light, etc. of 201. I say remove the blue for now. fade / watermark the railing. Give a very subtle highlight of color to the light fixture. 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #223 Withdrawn the post part already same size with the lettering 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #222 Withdrawn added some color 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #224 Withdrawn Already thicked same as "i" 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #221 Withdrawn with white BG 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #202 Withdrawn Not quite, but its not too bad - like in the first couple that you designed that had way too much contract the light post come right out of the top of the rail. I want to get the I portion in line with Seaside. This should be able to give you flexibility on moving the "family dentistry" anywhere under Seaside. And similar to what I have said in other posts - try to thicken the "I" portion more to get to similar (not necessarily exact, but closer) thicknesses of the lettering 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #199 Withdrawn I like the idea of a color accent - but it needs it on both sides of the light house and more subtle. Or we look at giving giving Seaside some subtle color and giving the lighthouse colors like you did in #200 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #203 Withdrawn Can I also see how this looks with the white back ground? 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #203 Withdrawn This one is better - I also like how there is a light and shadow emanating for the light house - it forces you to look fight at the center of the text and not pushing you to the right 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #175 Withdrawn Sorry I messed up on a previous comment - I liked #175 over #174 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #201 Withdrawn Try to thicken the post part to give it similar size as the lettering 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #200 Withdrawn Very cool effect, however we need to make the name pop more 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #203 Withdrawn Let me know about this too Thanks 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #202 Withdrawn Do you mean like this? 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #194 Withdrawn I think we are losing it in this direction - In the version 180 comment, my thought was to have the railings portion with the holes around the "family dentistry" only ... and look at have a light post come up in the I of seaside. But I also wanted to lighten the background on 180, and then make the vast majority of the prom railings a notch darker than the background to make it very subtle, but then have a contrasting color for the text portion of the sign so it stands out - along with the light pole Another variation can be having a very very small portion of the railings between the text lines Seaside and Family Dentistry and still have the light post come up on the I - almost making the prom portion an underline of seaside. 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #175 Withdrawn Can we thicken the light post a little - near similar thickness of the neighboring letters, but also in proper feel to the base - I feel the base is perfect 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #190 Withdrawn That looks great - just to see, can you make it the same height as the letters? It may take away for the light portion of it 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #190 Withdrawn a lighthouse as "i" 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #180 Withdrawn I really want one of these to work - i feel we are closest with #175. I don't think I want a black background. In 180 - we are losing the name of the business - it needs to be brighter. Maybe making the prom portion even smaller - using it around family dentistry? Having the light pole come up and be the I in seaside? 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #178 Withdrawn Give me kind of a film noir feel - its not right here 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #174 Withdrawn Less contrast which makes my eyes much happier - it almost gives it a crown feel which i don't know if i like. 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #175 Withdrawn I think I like 174 over 175. The contrast is so much better!! Using the light post for the "I" is ingenious! The only issue is that I am not sure people will quite get the meaning of it - can we do a very subtle - barely noticeable prom design. That may not work on the white/light gray grey background though Perhaps a lighthouse for the I? Seaside does have 1 lighthouse, but I wouldn't necessarily say that it is iconic. 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #174 Withdrawn What if like this? 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #150 Withdrawn In addition, I feel that this has too much contrast - is it a black background? If we can tone it down some, it will help. 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #150 Withdrawn Also - perhaps try to make the light portion shorter? But again, it may improve when it is made into more of a shadow or watermark 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #151 Withdrawn One does simplify it a little, but it may give it too much of a phallic symbol idea - but it may be better when made as a subtle part of the logo rather than the main theme 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #150 Withdrawn Very interesting!!! That looks just like the prom!!! However can we make it more subtle so the prom isn't so bold. Now how to do that .... Maybe a dark grey main color with a black prom? or a light grey prom? Thoughts. Very impressive 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #150 Withdrawn Hi, Do you mean like this? Let me know your interest 9 years ago toothdoc77 commented on #81 Withdrawn I really like the two examples - 79 and 81! They are both fun, modern, and simple. I don't know if this would work - and this is going against my desire to have some form of picture - but your designs reminded me of it. Can you do an Internet search for Seaside Oregon Boardwalk / Prom - so if there's a way to incorporate that into it. I'm not sure if that would or not - and it may take away from the modern feel that you've given me with these 9 years ago favy & the zaaf commented on #81 Withdrawn Hi, Let me know your interest please Thanks! 9 years ago
