Thank you so much for your work. You did everything I asked and more. Your ability to show light in your work is fantastic. I put the finalists work to survey vote on Facebook - and the one was chosen. That is why I picked it. Your was the personal favorite of mine - I really liked the way you were able to get the prom and light post effect in the design. It brought a more personal touch to the logo.
Again thank you - If I want to purchase from you I will message you!!
Unfortunately I think I have to go away from the lighthouse option - we do have a very small light house here in Seaside, but it is not has robust and cool as this one is here. You designed a very impressive lighthouse - this style is very good as well. I seem to go for this style
That looks great!! Sorry I haven't been able to respond much today so far - this is probably my favorite so far with the prom style. You could even make the I a little larger if you eliminate the small rectangle on top of the square.
So I like the "I" in 223, coupled with subtleness of the light, etc. of 201. I say remove the blue for now. fade / watermark the railing. Give a very subtle highlight of color to the light fixture.
Not quite, but its not too bad - like in the first couple that you designed that had way too much contract the light post come right out of the top of the rail. I want to get the I portion in line with Seaside. This should be able to give you flexibility on moving the "family dentistry" anywhere under Seaside.
And similar to what I have said in other posts - try to thicken the "I" portion more to get to similar (not necessarily exact, but closer) thicknesses of the lettering
I like the idea of a color accent - but it needs it on both sides of the light house and more subtle. Or we look at giving giving Seaside some subtle color and giving the lighthouse colors like you did in #200
This one is better - I also like how there is a light and shadow emanating for the light house - it forces you to look fight at the center of the text and not pushing you to the right
I think we are losing it in this direction - In the version 180 comment, my thought was to have the railings portion with the holes around the "family dentistry" only ... and look at have a light post come up in the I of seaside.
But I also wanted to lighten the background on 180, and then make the vast majority of the prom railings a notch darker than the background to make it very subtle, but then have a contrasting color for the text portion of the sign so it stands out - along with the light pole
Another variation can be having a very very small portion of the railings between the text lines Seaside and Family Dentistry and still have the light post come up on the I - almost making the prom portion an underline of seaside.
Can we thicken the light post a little - near similar thickness of the neighboring letters, but also in proper feel to the base - I feel the base is perfect
I really want one of these to work - i feel we are closest with #175. I don't think I want a black background. In 180 - we are losing the name of the business - it needs to be brighter. Maybe making the prom portion even smaller - using it around family dentistry? Having the light pole come up and be the I in seaside?
I think I like 174 over 175. The contrast is so much better!! Using the light post for the "I" is ingenious! The only issue is that I am not sure people will quite get the meaning of it - can we do a very subtle - barely noticeable prom design. That may not work on the white/light gray grey background though
Perhaps a lighthouse for the I? Seaside does have 1 lighthouse, but I wouldn't necessarily say that it is iconic.
One does simplify it a little, but it may give it too much of a phallic symbol idea - but it may be better when made as a subtle part of the logo rather than the main theme
Very interesting!!! That looks just like the prom!!! However can we make it more subtle so the prom isn't so bold. Now how to do that .... Maybe a dark grey main color with a black prom? or a light grey prom? Thoughts. Very impressive
I really like the two examples - 79 and 81! They are both fun, modern, and simple. I don't know if this would work - and this is going against my desire to have some form of picture - but your designs reminded me of it. Can you do an Internet search for Seaside Oregon Boardwalk / Prom - so if there's a way to incorporate that into it. I'm not sure if that would or not - and it may take away from the modern feel that you've given me with these
