Went to the files tab and there isn't an end early button. Emailing them now. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #53 Withdrawn sent you a PM for your email. 9 years ago David commented on #65 i'll be around :) 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #65 Great. Be at my PC in a minute 9 years ago David commented on #65 BridgePointe Strategies 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #52 Withdrawn I'll end it once the image comes over. Thanks for sending the link btw. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #52 Withdrawn sorry--BridgePointe Strategies. We had to drop financial because theres a Bridge Point Financial in the state. 9 years ago David commented on #52 Withdrawn alterations okay with me. a few fonts...not a big deal from my side :) just a minute to change the name. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #52 Withdrawn Ok, I'm going to end it now. I just heard back from the Secretary of State office and I need to change the name (already taken). I am going to edit the brief now with the correct name. If you could change the name and repost the image, then I will end it. Not sure how it works with alterations, so I want to make sure the contest ends with the correct name. Name is BridgePointe. 9 years ago David commented on #52 Withdrawn found it :) click here : https://logotournament.com/help/client/103 9 years ago David commented on #52 Withdrawn i'm working on a cannon by the way :))) 9 years ago David commented on #52 Withdrawn i guess so. i'm not sure how the site looks from your end, but it's got to be a button somewhere... 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #52 Withdrawn am I able to end the contest early? 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #53 Withdrawn Got it. Thanks 9 years ago David commented on #53 Withdrawn the files are with no background at all . they can be placed against anything . thant's why i've asked you when the contest is complete to click on my screen name, and click again on send PM (private message) there you can leave me your email which i'll use to send file types that logotournament doesn't allow us to exchange. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #53 Withdrawn Great. Thanks 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #53 Withdrawn The files I received were also with blank backgrounds so I could put the image over anything I wanted to play around with, which mya have just been normal .ai files that were opened without a background in Photoshop. Sorry, my skills are very limited. I know enough to resize images and change colors, so I'll need whatever file will allow me to chnage the color of the pistol and text, resize, move around, etc. I have AI and photoshop 9 years ago David commented on #53 Withdrawn absolutely. it's common to leave it this way so the end user may modify, edit... only the font is outlined, so that one you'll have to edit by yourself, using the fonts installed on your machine 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #53 Withdrawn When I did logos in the past through here, the illustrator sent me .ai files where the graphic and words weren't locked so I could make edits myself. Meaning, it was one file but everything wasn't flattened into one single image. Make sense? 9 years ago David commented on #53 Withdrawn thank you :) but if you intend to change it, i may have to deliver you the graphic as a separate file . this could be easier , when playing around with ... 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #53 Withdrawn Great. Thanks. Well spend some time deciding which font. 9 years ago David commented on #53 Withdrawn old font. again , a bit larger . 9 years ago David commented on #52 Withdrawn sure. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #52 Withdrawn Ok, just did. Now just add one more with the old font. 9 years ago David commented on #51 Withdrawn check #52 . is better cleaned:) 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #51 Withdrawn like how it looks on #49 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #51 Withdrawn could you please clean up the engraving plate (just under the flintlock). Just subtle clean up though. 9 years ago David commented on #52 Withdrawn made everything bigger so you can see it a bit more clearly. polished the plate :) please eliminate everything you're sure you can't use. it's easier for both of us :) 9 years ago David commented on #49 Withdrawn i'll make it again :) 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #49 Withdrawn We do like how you cleaned up the engraved plate 9 years ago David commented on #51 Withdrawn here is the #43 pistol with new copperplate text 9 years ago David commented on #49 Withdrawn got to be an optical illusion. the pistol is unchanged from the #43 , with some small detail adjustments inside, so the overall is untouched. the site is compressing images so all the entries look like 350x280 pixels. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #49 Withdrawn I think I can see why it's less bulky looking. It was cleaned up around the trigger guard and on the grip frame. We need it to look like #43 because when you zoom out, the lines are thinner around the trigger guard so it looks thin. 9 years ago David commented on #49 Withdrawn i'll just reverse the pistol as in #43 , and leave it exactly as it was . 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #49 Withdrawn Also, maybe it's just a trick of the eyes because the font change, but the revised pistol looks a little thinner. You might cleaned up the lines and that's why. We like it to look a little bulky as #43. 9 years ago David commented on #49 Withdrawn that'll be a minute. i still have the image from #43 . i keep them all i fact :) 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #49 Withdrawn Thanks for the update. We don't want it to look too clean and perfect though. I can see the subtle differences, which look great. If you could add back how the white strip looks under the barrel on image #43--this one looks too straight and perfect. We like the old school handrawn imperfection look. The polishing on the detailed parts looks great. We're deciding on the font. If you could post a pics with a revised pistol and both fonts we'll figure it out. We're going with your design. 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn the cannon looks a bit odd without the base.... well...we'll cross that bridge... 9 years ago David commented on #49 Withdrawn polished some small details of the pistol, and used a copperplate font. 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn https://logotournament.com/help/designer/133 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn up right corner near the gun / or up right corner end of text. but : I can't show it here . rules say we can't use TM R or C ... 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #44 Withdrawn What are your suggestions for adding a TM? 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn kinda caught that :) 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn i have to . no font exchange is allowed here . cannon can be done , same style. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #44 Withdrawn SeaBridge Strategies is a separate firm. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #44 Withdrawn *need 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #44 Withdrawn Ok, I'll bed .ai files to change font types in illustrator. Just please make sure you use outlines on everything so I don't have to search for font types. We decided to use a cannon for SeaBridges Strategies, so maybe we can work something out for another logo. 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn your money your rules :) about the vector files , when the contest is complete you'll receive 1 EPS vector file with no raster images embedded , and 1 jpeg image as presentation . either way when the contest is done i'll be happy to provide you with my email address in case you'll need other vector types or /and different files. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #44 Withdrawn Meant #43 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #44 Withdrawn I'm going to stick with #42. Thanks 9 years ago David commented on #44 Withdrawn trajan pro font 9 years ago David commented on #43 Withdrawn to be clear :) ONLY vector . no the font is other , but i'll prepare a version with TRAJAN font now. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #43 Withdrawn Is that what this one is? I'm open to anything you suggest. The pistol was the major hurdle and you nailed it. However, to be clear, the pistol needs to be vector (I think) as it needs to be able to be enlarged without resolution deteriorating. 9 years ago David commented on #43 Withdrawn a nice looking financial font is TRAJAN PRO , but now everybody is using it and...well... 9 years ago David commented on #42 Withdrawn :))))) ... true happens to me all the time #43 thinner font 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #42 Withdrawn FONT...stupid autocorrect 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #42 Withdrawn Ok. Pistol is perfect. If you can't Unbold, the. Just use a thinner don't type. 9 years ago David commented on #42 Withdrawn let me see if i can... 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #42 Withdrawn Unbold 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #42 Withdrawn Looks great. Can you I bold SeaBridge 9 years ago David commented on #42 Withdrawn i'm blind :))) 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #39 Withdrawn More on the cream side. Yes, have to make sure the pistol is different enough :) 9 years ago David commented on #39 Withdrawn saw it, but let me try to come up with something that is significantly different , or i'll be in a lot of trouble :))) 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #39 Withdrawn Also, I really like the flintlock pistol I posted (4th image and from istock). If you are able to tweak yours any that would be good. I can't use istock's as a logo. 9 years ago David commented on #39 Withdrawn how light would you like it? almost white or more to the cream side? 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #39 Withdrawn Ok. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Also, if you could do the background in a cream/ivory color it would help me with the color scheme. 9 years ago David commented on #39 Withdrawn ah okay, about the font. is one elegant /serious serif, with small and large caps. i'll prepare a version. 9 years ago David commented on #39 Withdrawn sure. just i'll probably have to make it horizontally aligned. thank you. 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #39 Withdrawn I'd also like a serif font. More like Times New Roman 9 years ago WorrTech commented on #39 Withdrawn Could you please produce a single pistol version. I'd like to see what that looks like. Thanks 9 years ago
