We definitely want the "o" to be a focal point (even though its off center) but I really feel like the ribbon idea is pretty well saturated in the world of "issue awareness" graphic design and is probably near the end of its trendiness. We are looking for something more timeless. Your entry #1 is nice with the weight of the smaller type balancing the "O", but I prefer the "scholarliness" of the small caps you used in #3 and #4. I also like the double line being interrupted by the "O", especially in #4 where the line appears to be in the background, yet is visually continued through the top of the heart. This one seems to have a lot of depth to it, which I like, but the colors are not at all what we are looking for. Even though colorectal cancer affects men and women, its more generally associated with males, therefore, we are looking for more masculine coloring. Cadet blue, black and a dull light orange was the general consensus from the Drs.
