Dear CH, I have submitted all revisions (I believe) and variations. Maybe I missed something in this pack of comments to more than 50 entries I submitted. I don't know, your current rankings don't reflect your intentions to pick my concept as a winning design and I am a bit upset. My logo is clean, simple and really reflects what your company does. You've asked me to include extra moto messages and this makes my initial concept a bit busy. Anyway, the brand identity needs to be used differently depending on various corporate identity needs, that is why professional brand identity companies provide clients with identity guides to explain the usage of the brand in various circumstances. Once again, if my concept will be picked as a winner, you will be provided with different variation of this logo (b/w version, converted to grey, for light/dark backgrounds, with/without tagline, etc). Thank you for the nice contest. Respectfully, eximius
I think this has great potential but I am wondering if the shading below the sign could be put in and the sign corners softened (rounded a bit) ... Also I think the working is fine ... but could we use a little smaller line between the sign and the tag line
thank you ... this is very helpful ... can you do me one with the tag line at the side and a simple line between the blue boxed Schaefer Sign Works and the tag line which will be on the right hand side ...
I know I just commented to you ... but would like to see this with the SignWorks as one word in the blue box below the name Schaefer ... I like how there is a line to separate the Schaefer SignWorks from the tag line ... and this I can use it with the tag line and without the tag line ... Also I think the rounded corners in the blue box work the better
thank you for your comments and input about the tag line making things too busy around the logo... I will need to study this a little bit ... but if it is simple for you to do could you go ahead and place the tag line while keeping Sign Works as well ... like some place below the blue box
Also forgot to ask ... but I assume on the design that it is possible to "round the corners of the box" ... I think you showed that idea earlier in the many submissions you sent forward ... thank you
Thank you for this submission ... I am trying to understand or visualize how this would look on a dark background (like we might have for a website or for facebook) ... Also add in the Sign Works and the tag line "Outstanding Signs and Designs Solutions"

Hello. Check out #260 and #261 entries. I believe this is a great identity. Everything is in there. CMYK coloring, frame/sign, cool typography. Hope you like it.
#257, #256: Love these. Clean, simple. modern. The sign behind the name creates the illusion that there is an S letter. Good for apparel, embroidery and engravings safe.
Dear schaefct, this concept has been designed in the way it should be used with or without tagline 'signworks'. It's a WORDMARK style logo. There is no option to stack it vertically or horizontally like in #19, #153, #167. Those logos could be used in different orientations. Technically, it's possible to use frame as a standalone element but this won't be smth unique, since such frame is a very basic shape. The thing is that combination of this basic shape with the name itself gives what we both like now. I believe that #129 is better though. Regarding a tagline. 'Sign works' is already executed as a tagline which already says the client what company does. I didn't quite get this a bit. Do you want me to change the 'sign works' to the variants you've listed above? Or those options are needed to be placed somewhere else? If so, I don't recommend you to do this, since logo will be busy and not professionally looking. If you plan to use your tagline "your signs and graphic solutions" I recommend you to use it a bit differently. For example, include it as a Welcome Hero message on the website or other printing materials which shouldn't be necessarily just around the logo. Please advise. Thanks
so I found 129 ... I see the clean and simple look ... how will it look with a tag line and in the other ideas I submitted to you a little while ago ... this is helpful
you are in my top three with this design ... I think I want to have you look a few different fonts. one of my friends has recommended using a futura font or century gothic font ... looking for modern fonts ... also wondering if we need to look at spacing between the "EFE" in SCHAEFER ... looking for modern and clean ... lastly we will need to consider how this looks in a tall rectangle (stacked) setting as well as how it will look in a square version and lastly a rectangle version (wider left to right) ... also I have decided to add a tag line and this tag line will be something like "(word) Signs and Graphics Solutions" for example "Your Signs and Graphics Solution" or Outstanding Signs and Graphics Solutions" or Creative Signs and Graphics Solutions" ... as you can see I am still working the tag line ... hope this helps and hope to continue to work with you over the next few days to see if you can move into the top spot.
Hello. Have you had a chance to check out #100 and #129? You no longer like the initial concept? Is anything else you want me to perform on this design?
Dear ContestHolder, in case of nomination you will be provided with several versions of the logo: on white background, on dark background, greyscale, etc. A good logo needs to be looking good in various instances since corporate identity items could be different in terms of colors and surfaces.
Hello. I tried to represent a concept in a classy way, black/white. During this stage the crucial part is a concept itself. Colors could be applied later. This particular gesture is commonly used by field sign technicians and photographers who trying to see a sign or photo in the actual environment, they are aiming the hands in front of the object and think about the composition. Will post this design on blue background. Thank you.
thank you for the submission ... talk to me about the hands and the representation a little more ... also what does it look like if we box the Schaefer part ... what about a total blue back ground and then the hands and letters in white
