I love the shading and highlights of the drop in #106. Is there anyway to create that same appearance in this drop? Perhaps that's the way you already made this one, but it may be harder to see because it's such a light color. I don't want to lose the brightness of the yellow in this drop, but I'd love to see more noticeable highlights and shading like in #106.

I would like the font to match what is used in the full logo, but i'm having trouble deciding whether I should go with the water ripple, the shadow, or nothing under the S. I can imagine various scenarios where they would all be very useful.

If these leaves could be curved a bit, but not a much as #194, and some shading added, but toned down a bit compared to #194, I think it would be a good balance.

I LOVE the tree in #177, but I still think this one is my favourite.
A couple of hinge to try with this one:
1. Can the leaves be enhanced a bit to give them more dimension?
2. Can there be a very thin and suble outline or shadow applied the entire logo to make it feel like it's backlit or floating off the page?

This is my favorite design so far. I would like to play with a few things yet, just to see what else it can look like. If you'd rather wait until the finalists round to make further changes,that's just fine. You've done so much work already.

Anyway, here's what I'm thinking:

I haven't decided on the color of the drop. I really like the gold, but I also really like the colors in #78. If I go with the gold, I would like to see if it can be made brighter and more shiny looking.

I'd also like to see what the dark blue lettering looks like as dark turquoise. Kind of like this:

I keep coming back to this one. You're making this tough! That's a good thing, though. :)

Any way to enhance the drop to make it stand out more, or look brighter? Maybe add more blue to the bottom and a touch of yellow or a brighter yellow green to the highlighted area at the top of the drop?
What about giving the whole thing a more high definition appearance?

It may be a bit much, but would a rainbow gradient work for the drop? Starting with a hint of red at the very tip, to gold then bright yellow near the highlight, and proceed down to green and dark blue or violet
at the bottom.

I love the placement of the leaves and oil drop in this one, and I really like the clouring of the oil drop.
I'm not sure about the brown lettering, though. I would like to see if it works as a deep cobalt or ultramarine blue instead of brown.
