Leave the O but put the lamp shade on top of the O (it will look like a round lamp base with the shade on the top. Make the O solid black.

Can you try different color combination and a dog other than the fancy poodle because the dogs we will be helping most likely won't be so fancy - LOVE the lamp shade!
