I see what you mean, but still in my mind there are many differences. Besides, in every design you can find similarities if you insist in looking hard enough - very rarely nowadays you find something so unique.
I still feel that the icon is different, more visual, more flowing, more lasting. Certainly it is much more to our tastes and vision.
I really hope you decide to re submit it, as it is a certain winner. Please reconsider.
