03/14/10 To: Tracy Santrock I read your brief and looked over your image files and started with the Bixby dark background and text layout. Nice web page by the way. You have some impressive credentials. I tried to add a richer blue or go beyond navy blue to get a more royal blue in my first entry. The second design entry is a gate in the same colors, white on royal blue faded to black. I can reverse this to royal blue on white if you would like? The iron gate says uptown , rich , royal , intelligent , and lets just say its not a house or roofline. I am trying to say realty without a roofline or house in the design. Feel free to request changes and instruct me on the changes you would like to see. Majestic_Concepts (Rob)
I really like the one with the gate. However, Cary NC banned gated communities in Cary in 1996. The font seems a little simple to me. I think I'd like to see something a bit more feminine or sharper/crisper lines. Thanks for the great work. I'm really excited about this process.
To: Tracy Santrock Thanks for the kind words. I invested in a CD with over 3000 fonts a few months back. I have so many fonts that sometimes I don’t know were to start. I will look them over and see what I can find that says professional and elegant. If by chance you have a special font in mind feel free to request one and I will try and find it for you. To: Tracy Santrock The gate is a representation of a estate , or entrance to a fine estate. I did not think of a gated community when I was creating the design. Many estates here in the deep south have gates at the entrance with a scenic driveway leading up to a fine estate or old southern plantation home. In Texas I have seen the iron gate used at big ranches with million dollar estates. Im trying to stay away from the roofline by using other ideas. What do you think about the round window design? To: Tracy Santrock I added the flowers and leaves due to I noticed that the leaves were in the attached files in your brief. So I just threw them in to see what you think. Hope you like the designs? Please feel free to request changes as needed. Majestic_Concepts
