I ranked Entry #2 first because I like how the sizing of SMCM compares with San Mateo Capital Management beneath it. I also liked the font. The things I would change are the bottom color - possibly dark blue replacing the gray? - and possibly the convex line going through SMCM.

I like entry #3 but would be interested in seeing how it looks with a different color - dark blue? dark green?

I liked how the logo appears within the lines on entry $5, but my concern is that the Capital Management part would be too hard to read if it was on a business card.

I liked entry #6 as far as the sizing and font, but the gray line coming out of SMCM looked creepy (not sure why - it was my first reaction).

Entry #1: liked the concept, but thought it would look better with a different image. Maybe a globe? Or some other kind of sphere?
