Hello, Here is the initial logo design I came up with for your market. I designed this with shirts and other memorabilia in mind, so that is why I limited myself to flat colors (no highlights, gradients, etc.) This particular version would be a 4-color print on light blue shirts, which could your overall printing costs relatively low.
As far as the concept behind my design: I tried to balance between both seafood and land-grown with the elements of the logo. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, both in terms of content and color. Thanks!
We like the design, but we are looking for logos that more distinctly feature seafood and produce products that are grown or harvested in our region, which include tomatoes, okra, corn, citrus (oranges, lemons, limes, kumquats), berries (but not grapes), apples, shrimp (but not crawfish), crabs, fish, oysters, peppers, herbs, pecans, broccoli, carrots, and sugarcane. You do not have to use all of these elements and I know it can be challenging with the flat colors (which is a great consideration), but the inclusion of some of these elements is important to us.
That sounds good; thank you for the detailed info! I will see what I can do to rework the design more for you. I should have a revision ready within the next day or so tops!
