Good progressive design. Like that you incorporated the laser beam cutting a line and the beam itself. The two tone "Salem" seems kind of distracting to the eye. Especially with the white background. The black background is much more bold and of those two I like that the word "laser" is highlighted in red.
Like #13 and #14 (Nice to have the white and black depending on the application) we like that the laser beam line that divides the word "Salem" cuts the same color so the viewers eye isn't distracted by the two colors. #15 is cool with the laser beam line cutting the underline and the letter "M" with the beam star at the end. Very nice!
#27, #24, #26, #25 - Like that they incorporate the laser but the color change from "Sale" and then "M" draw your eye to the word "Sale" instead of "Salem".
#32 - #35 stuggling with the absence of the cross bar on the "A" because the eye tends not to see the word, but cues in on the shape of the "A", then the reader has to go back and make out the word.
We moved the duplicates in opposing colors to the unranked column so we could get as many designers in the top 5 slots to maximize our submissions. Please don't withdraw opposing color scheme. We just wanted to buy some more time for as many designers to be able to continue with their submissions. Thank you.
