With some thorough research, I came across a photo of the centaur in front of the St. Petersburg Dom Kino (Cinema House). I'd like to keep playing with the composition, but I think using the symbol of the centaur could be a very unique, and powerful identity for the festival. Thanks!

Another concept utilizing the centaur image, this time eliminating the yellow circle and using it as the frame, with imagery suggesting film and a camera lens.

As a departure, a more iconic image is used. The silhouetted Bronze Horseman (Peter the Great) is enthroned in front of a film canister. The combination proved to be powerful and sophisticated.

#10 A black and white version of the logo, to showcase it's versatility as a graphic. #11 is a simple Grey scale alteration of the color logo, also showcasing a possible printing/display scenario.

I like the idea, could you try a few different variations because i would like something more modern, rather than traditional.
