Thank you for your submission to our contest. Could we please see at least 2 more variations? One with a solid gold ring around the outside and one without the gold shapes on the outside.
Thank you for all your revisions. Could we please see Entry #2 with the gold shapes on the outside of the blue border with the gaps filled in so as to create a boarder of solid thin navy and solid thin gold on the outside. I'm really drawn to your design because the drawing of St. Joseph "breaks" the circle in the design. I think that adds a lot of interest.
Hi, thank you for your fresh idea. Could we please see entry 141 with the yellow crosses changed to a lighter blue color, the arc in the center of the circle eliminated and somehow incorporate the lighthouse and the "J" together???
Thank you for your revisions. Could we please see entry 193 with the "SJC" removed from the center, the inner circle with the lighthouse reduced by about 20% and the text of "SAINT JOSEPH" and "COMMUNICATIONS" enlarged? Thanks again!
Regarding 195 the lighthouse or image is too dominant because it's being reduced on a 1/2" spine, the copy really needs to be the most prominent. Thank you
197 is our favorite with the change of the inside circle being 2/3 lighthouse and 1/3 horizon. You did have a logo up there with the horizon dropped lower in the circle but it's been deleted and I can't reference it by the number any longer
i got the logo court from other designer, he was claim first using the firehouse alone in the circle. i do not want remove my entry, due firehouse is from the client right? or do you have suggestion?
We are not understanding everything you are saying. Might be a language barrier. Are you saying that another designer is telling you that you cannot use the single lighthouse inside a circle design because he/she used it first? The lighthouse (not firehouse) did come from us, so anyone can use it.
We appreciate and like your creative style. We would like to see more designs from you if you are willing at this point. You are very familiar with our taste and we want to encourage you to continue to submit more designs that do not conflict with the rules. We are hoping to continue to work with you. If you can submit original concepts we are more than willing to continue to develop your concepts. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
Piraka, Thank you for the new designs. The triangle is not going to work, but let's try something a little different. Could you go back to design #193, and replace the inner image with a design that incorporates a decorative cross?
In addition to the decorative cross, could you also try one with the letters IHS, similar to what you will find on the Ignatius Press website here: www.ignatius.com. IHS is a universally-used abbreviation for a Latin phrase that refers to the name of Christ.
Thank you - this is a good start on this design, but the proportions of the various texts, related to each other, is not good. Please take a fresh look at the whole thing, and try to create better proportions. Also, let's remove the cross and just stick with the IHS lettering.
