Hi, I submitted several entries. I played with the icon to make it more hexagonal but didn't work out nicely. Just made it more subtle. Please check the out the variations. Thank you.
I do agree with you. But some customers are harder than others... and after 5th time of recommandation not followed... you just want to close the deal :D
That is why you guys in agency have to guide your client :) Here, we can't educate clients in terms of design. Moreover, it's forbidden by the rules of this community. Most of clients are inexperienced in this industry and pick logos they regret about later. We're not allowed discussing other designers' ideas and designs in general and convince clients with something. This is a huge difference between freelance stuff and agency. And certainly I can't tell you how to conduct your business. You are the boss here :)
Ok. Just so you understand: I am not the final customer, we are agency and we submit the proposals to our customer. He is still not convinced by any of the options. So trying to ask for new ideas to the contestants.
The idea to play on the notion of life/safety. An abstract heart shown in a unique way, so it appears like shield around the heart and in general. Cool-lookong app icon
I know you try to avoid shields, but I'm uploading this logo again. I know it's a bit overused for this kind of industry but its executed in a unique way AND it rhymes with the name which gives a client/customer 100% perception of what its all about. Please consider this. Thank you.
Dear ContestHolder, I still don't get how a LINK could be associated with a rescue teams / first responders in terms of the application and general public. I mean their's perception. It's to far from the industry. The icon needs to be clear and simple, and communicate at least something. Unless you've got a very famous and established brand.. I provided you with more than 15 different concepts ranging from abstract icons where a story could be plotted behind to simple ones, industry related. Just hope you won't end up with something cheesy and overused. I believe my concepts provided comply your previous possibilities posted.
As I understand you're looking for icon so it can be used as an app shortcut as well. Right? Making something inside or around Go part will eliminate a possibility of using logo as an icon. To stay professional enough we need to concentrate on a one accent in the logo block.
Hi, we are not 100% convinced about this logo. Can you try other possibilities around the idea of:
- Chain links (as links of the rescue team)
- Playing with the S and the G
- Simple and catchy
- Focus on Suggest / Imply rather than show
- Hidden meaning / idea
Just an abstract star-alike logo with an idea of a community an teamwork. A sort of a chain/link. And a star was always the symbol of courage, law enforcement and first-responders (think cops, firefighters, militaries, etc)
I am sorry. The contest is blind. We don't see other designer's entries. If you referring to my entry, please use hashtag and entry number. Will do the orange GO. Anyways, keep in mind that colors could be altered easily. The main thing is a concept itself.
What do you mean by more pro? This particular font is professional-grade, commercial font. There are millions of the fonts available. Do you have something specific in mind? I tried to provide you with clean, simple, readable and not cheesy/overused font. Please advise. Thank you.
The idea is to use a cat's eye: always on watch, surveillance, security, fast responder. The idea is to use an agile animal in a sense of security and fast responding. Could be plotted a nice story behind this logo.
