I actually like the weight and balance of the font, but would like something a little more creative and modern, and would like to incorporate the image of the saber (sword), especially the handle/blade. Here are a few links to images of sabers to help.

FYI... I tend to like the cross-handle type swords better than the traditional sabers with the rounded handles (see directly below).
although, technically not really a saber...this type of cross handled sword is what I like. http://www.militarysabers.com/air-force-sword.html

Definitely like the direction. Font is a little "soft." I would like to see something a little stronger. Cool idea with the swords.

I do like that this font is a little stronger. I would like to maybe land somewhere in between really strong and a bit of stylized.

Here is another option I came across that I really like. It is a logo for Saber Industries in Oklahoma that uses a subtle "crossed saber" design on a shield. I think something like that would work well. Any ideas along those lines?

Wow... these are looking cooler by the minute! :) I really like these latest two designs... as you can see, now ranked 1st and 2nd!

I am really liking the direction but would love to see some more variations on the mark... i.e. different swords, handles down, handles up, single sword, dagger-like sword, etc. I also put together some images that might help with some ideas. Here is the link.

Thanks for the great ideas!

Thanks for your ever creative designs and variations. I appreciate you taking the time to work on these.

I would like to try one thing, if you don't mind... and that is making the swords and shield mark a little less detailed and a little more simple--so that it could be used more as a simple standalone mark, if desired. I have found a logo (that is a "Saber" company interestingly enough) that uses a very simple mark. Could you take a look at it and see if you can come up with some designs that use a more simplified mark?

Here is the logo (with mark) that I like that you can use as general guide.

Thanks again for your help and ideas!

Hi Saxas,
Here are: #85 and #86
As i did for #73 and #74, i erased the shield because its too much like an insurance logo!
I try to avoid using a saber that is too close to the pirates or arabic one... i'm closer to the King Arthur's one!
ps: sorry for my very poor english :)

Any ideas with a saber tooth tiger, instead of the saber swords?

One day left... I would like to see any and all design ideas you might have!

Hi,
I'm sorry, i had to withdraw my logo (ranked 1) because it was too close from the logo you sent us.
Good luck for the judging phase.
