Good concept. I like the idea with the font. Let's use the existing mark (supplied in brief) and work on variations with the font.

Thanks for your participation!

Exactly what I am after!! These look good (and as you can see are up at the top of my rankings). One thing I have to keep in mind is how these work when printed, or utilized for things like collateral (shirts, hats, etc.) and "simple" print (i.e. black and white). I like the gradation and the beveled look, but will need to make sure they will work in the other applications as well. Could we keep playing with this direction and try some additional fonts, maybe making the shield smaller to fit with the size/weight of the text, etc.

Again, I really like the direction...and would just like to explore as many options as possible.

Thanks again for your ideas!!

These are looking great. I would still like to continue to experiment with different font ideas as well as some "effects" with the shield. I am curious what it would look like in a "stainless steel" or "chrome" look, beveled to look metallic...I am thinking of something cut out of polished metal and hanging on the wall. :)

Thanks for your continued great ideas!

Okay... so here is some feedback I received from another designer which I think is credible. He pointed out that on some fonts the "counters" (the open areas in the letters) are very small in some fonts. It is not a problem when doing anything larger, but when used in a small fashion or for embroidery on t-shirts, etc. the spaces in the letters may get too small (maybe even non-existent). I like your shield design the best, but I think the font is going to have to have larger counters to work with everything we want to do with it. Hope that makes sense. Overall I am liking the design direction.

Thanks again!

I am really liking your designs. I think the shield needs to be a little more simple. I like the "enhancements" to the shield, but am concerned in certain applications (i.e. black and white, embroidered on shirts, etc.), it may not work well. Also, let's take effects out of lettering for the same reason. It is really the font/shield combo that is most important. Look at some of the other top designs and see what variations you can come up with.

Thanks again!

I really like the font on the latest designs...just want to see it with a more simplified shield design. Something rounded is fine, but maybe not quite so much beveling. Can't wait to see the final ideas!

I really like the latest...I have moved it to #2. Could you take the effects out of the lettering and shield?

Fantastic Designs! So, just for final touches sake. Could you take a few of your earlier ideas with the beveled shield and put them back now with the solid font ideas you have created (i.e. #140, #201, #202, #203)? I would just like to see what these fonts look like with the enhanced shields (with the beveled effects).

Also, when you do the beveled effects, could you try a few without the separate bevel around the border of the shield? What I mean is to just have the whole shield beveled as one piece, and not have the inside bevel be different from the border bevel. (Hope that makes sense).

We're very close to the end! Thanks again.

Can we keep the shield straight up and down with no slant?

Could you try and put an "effect" (beveled) like on the ranking #10 Max K? It is an entire shield bevel.
