Very good look. like #4 the best. But black and yellow are catapillar equipments colors here in the states..I do carry thier equipment but it would look like i was part of them..nice touch on the forklift part also. Lets try something else.
thanks. what do you mean by polishing it off? (I hope it's not a pun at my nationality ;) Would you like more details added to the truck part? Is there a colour or effect you'd like me to try? Do you like the "button" style of the logo?
in this logo the truck is driving to his destination with the load. I'm happy with this concept. Unless it's totally not what you'e looking for, I'll be developing this one.
I'm polish also..was told actually prussian..but guess thats not a country anymore..and no its not a pun..wink..yes..i think your pretty darn close to what i want..#40
If there's something you like in one of my entries and something in another I can always combine them or make any other changes that would come to your mind.
Thank you. Let me write a description to showcase the features I've been focusing on while designing, as some important things are not so obvious: I'm trying to keep the overall style as cool, but sure and serious (i.e.color choice is one factor that helps achieving it). The star and lines reflect the slogan and add dynamism, liven up the image. The whole concept shows the truck actually "on the road", moving. The shape of truck and letters is not too detailed (it's a logo after all so we want to keep it clear), bold and serious (it took much development to get that feel and I'm glad it resembles your trucks). I'm also satisfied with the way that all the elements fit together making a strong sign. All that said I feel like running out of place for improvement, but I'll think some more before time runs out.
Thanks, I always try to make a lot of options. Otherwise develompment of the design won't happen (you could see how my design was taking shape). And it's a professional approach. If a designer submits a design and leaves it unchanged, giving no options, obviously he doesn't care and you can't be sure that's the best he can do. And yeah, it's sure a matter of ambition too:)
starting to see that with another designer..seeing I'm new to this..how many days do i have to choose a winner.. underneath the logo..can you put Lititz, Pa. and under that 717-629-1478..just trying to polish it off..i like the direction you went..need something thats viewable from a distance
FAQ:"We require you to select a winner within 7 days of the contest ending. We allow a 7 day extension of the contest if you need more time or additional entries from the design community." So 2 weeks. I'll add what you want and try to get the logo to work the best I can, althought I can't submit a new entry here while in judging mode unless I'm ranked 1st. But if it's not a new logo, just additional information, I guess I won't break the rules if I post a link to an image here. Or we could wait if that designer gets serious and if not, you'll swap ranks.
Here's a proposition of the logo with the additional information. Looks good and is easily readible at smaller sizes too, could be on a business card etc. http://jakubsudra.neostrada.pl/sandj.html
