Thank you so much :) 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #128 We think we’ll be able to easily invert colours, or add contrasting stroke colours to work on various colours of shirts, such as blue, green, red, yellow, etc. Thanks. 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #128 We have an old version of Adobe Illustrator (CS6), but have been switching over to Serif Affinity Designer. We should be able to handle the layers no problem. Thanks! 4 years ago orca commented on #128 Hi TheRVgeeks, The file format that you will receive are the vector file ai, pdf, eps, svg and pixel is png file. If I may know, what software do you use to edit the logo? Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #128 Thanks so much for the dark colored designs! They look really good. One last question before we select our winner… Will be filed be provided in a layered format, allowing us to adjust slightly as needed for various colored T-shirts and other merchandise as we assemble all of the colors that the logo needs to work on? For example if we were to offer a blue T-shirt, we could add a yellow stroke to the blue letters ourselves. We just want to make sure we know what format the file will be in, and that it has layers that we can adjust later on, depending on our needs. Thank you so much! 4 years ago orca commented on #128 Kindly review #130, #131 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #128 In preparing to finalize this, we’re planning how we might use the logo on T-shirts and other dark-coloured items. Is it possible to see how the logo might work on a black background? 4 years ago orca commented on #128 You're welcome :) Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #128 Fantastic. Thanks. We’ll let you know if we have any other thoughts, but this looks great. 4 years ago orca commented on #127 Withdrawn Kindly review #128 thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #127 Withdrawn Just a little! 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #127 Withdrawn Bringing the motorhome/gradient down a little more into the “gee” looks really good! Can you do the same thing at the front of the motorhome above the “ks”? 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #127 Withdrawn Excellent! Thank you. Will do a final review soon, but almost done. This will be the one. 4 years ago orca commented on #126 Withdrawn Kindly review #127 Thank you :) 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #126 Withdrawn Love this. Better size and kerning on he tag line. The smaller glasses are also an improvement..... but to go with that, can we bring the gradient/windows of the RV above the "gee" down slightly toward the letters, to reduce whitespace. Thank you! 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #126 Withdrawn Nice! Thanks. Will review and get back to you later today. 4 years ago orca commented on #124 Withdrawn You're welcome :) kindly review 1 more options, smaller glasses #126 Thank you so much 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #124 Withdrawn Thanks for both of the new designs! We’ll discuss and get back to you later today. 4 years ago orca commented on #120 Withdrawn Hi TheRVgeeks, Kindly review #124, #125 I search the font like that but wider, I don't find it, I am so sorry. Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #120 Withdrawn Thanks for all the options and feedback! We have a dilemma we're hoping you can solve..... we like the new tag line, but want it even smaller (font size) to further differentiate it the "RVgeeks", but there's already too much space (kerning) between the tag line letters..... but we don't like the dashes to the left and right of it that you used in the other designs. Maybe a different, but similar, font that has slightly wider letters? Completely filling the entire space under the "eeks" like you have it here is really good! If you could figure out a way to fill that area without so much space between the letters, that would be great. Lastly, we think a slight reduction in the thickness of the black line separating the "eeks" from the tag line might be good? Thanks again! 4 years ago orca commented on #111 Withdrawn #123 the original tagline 4 years ago orca commented on #111 Withdrawn Dear TheRVgeeks, Kindly review the change and variations #120, #121, #122 Yes you can edit the tagline or I can give you both with the original tagline. I can give you the both font if you select me as a winner. Thank you so much, Kind regards, Stella 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #111 Withdrawn This is still awesome! Getting so close! Using the approximate line we drew in markup, can you bring the gray shading in the front window down at an angle to approximately meet the lower windshield line at the very front of the motorhome? Also we realized that the tag line "RV Like A Pro" is such a large font that it competes with the "RVgeeks". Using the same font, can you shrink the font size by about 25%? Lastly, after we're all done, we might want to go back to our original tag line after all. Will we be able to re-type/adjust the text in the final file we receive? and if so, what is the tagline font? Thanks! 4 years ago TheRVgeeks added markup for #111 Withdrawn 4 years ago TheRVgeeks added markup for #111 Withdrawn 4 years ago orca commented on #111 Withdrawn You're most welcome :) 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #111 Withdrawn This is great! Solidly our first choice so far. Thanks very much. We'll let you know if we think of anything else. We really appreciate how responsive you've been and the options you've provided. 4 years ago orca commented on #110 Withdrawn Kindly review #111, #112, #113 I am sorry for post comment on each new design so I know what is the color :) the color very very slight different, so sorry about that. Thank you 4 years ago orca commented on #113 Withdrawn 95AA68 4 years ago orca commented on #112 Withdrawn 93A670 4 years ago orca commented on #111 Withdrawn 92A377 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #110 Withdrawn Excellent! Thanks for all the details in your last message. The length of the "R" is much better. And we do like the green you used here in #110 better than the one we provided (919F7E, now in #109), however we think the green is still in need of a little fine-tuning..... maybe somewhere in between the two? A couple of green color options in that range would be great. Everything else looks excellent. 4 years ago orca commented on #102 Withdrawn Hello TheRVgeeks, The font for name "RVgeeks" is 1 font, but we make a little adjustment to it :) but the it still 1 kind of font. for the tagline, I use the font from your original logo Kindly review new change #108, for this one I use Hex 919F7E #109, for this one I use Hex 96AD61 #110 Thank you. 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #102 Withdrawn Thanks so much, that "g" is much more readable, and this design is still our current #1 favorite! Can you please let us know how many different fonts are used in the "RVgeeks" name? Are the letters "RVgks" all the same font? Could we please see two additional, minor changes? (1) Could you change the color gradient of the motorhome graphic to this green color: # 919F7E? (2) The left side/leg of the "R" seems just a little bit short. Is it possible to extend it downward just the slightest bit? 4 years ago orca commented on #82 Withdrawn Hi TheRVgeeks, Kindly review new variations #102, yellow glasses and black pupil #103, yellow glasses and blue pupil #104 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #82 Withdrawn That "V" is very good! much better. But the "g" is still too difficult to tell for sure that it's the letter g. Maybe something less fancy? Other than that, if we could move the "R" and the "V" just a little further apart.... we'd like them to be very close to each other, but not quite touching. If we could see a version of this with the two "ee"s white, like they are now, and a version with them yellow again, that would be great for us to compare. The black pupils are great. Thanks! 4 years ago orca commented on #81 Withdrawn Kindly review #82, #83 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #81 Withdrawn Been continuing to review, and have some more feedback. While we like the font (fonts?) used for "RVgeeks" we feel that at smaller sizes, the "V" can look like a "D" at first glance, and the "g" a little bit like a "2". What might we do to continue having a very distinctive font, but a bit more clear what all letters are? Also, please remove the yellow from within the "ee" letters, and change the blue "pupils" to black to make them more obviously pupils. 4 years ago orca commented on #81 Withdrawn Thank you :) If you have another change, please let me know. Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #81 Withdrawn Now we're talking! Thanks for the updates. #1 so far! 4 years ago orca commented on #78 Withdrawn Kindly review tagline options #79, #80, #81 Thank you :) 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #78 Withdrawn Thanks so much for the rapid reply and options. This one is the closest yet with two minor changes needed: 1) We'd like to see the "R" and the "V" in RVgeeks moved a little further apart, so they barely touch at all, and 2) Small caps in the tag line, where the "ike" in like and the "ro" in Pro are capital letters, but smaller than the others. The font should be good the way it is though. Thanks! 4 years ago orca commented on #69 Withdrawn Hi TheRVgeeks, Kindly review #76, #77, #78 this entry I remove the stripe from the upper corner left of the RV, because it make the logo wider, it just my options :) Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #69 Withdrawn Almost forgot...... can we get the TINIEST bit more space between the "R" and the "V" in "RV" up at the top of the letters? We're okay with them touching..... but only just! Thanks! 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #69 Withdrawn The more we look at your design, the more we like it, Stella! Still our current 1st place holder. We've been considering leaving the tag line "Helping RVers go DIY" out of the logo, but your design incorporates it really well. So we're considering a new tag line instead: "RV Like A Pro!" Would it be too much trouble to change the tag line to that (including the exclamation point)? We'd suggest that this more impactful tag line would also warrant using a small caps version of the same font, but we're open to ideas. Thanks again. 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #69 Withdrawn Thanks, Stella! We really like it and will let you know if we think of anything else we'd like to see changed. If you have any ideas to tweak/tighten it up, please let us know! 4 years ago orca commented on #69 Withdrawn Thank you so much, I am glad you like it :) If you have any change, please let me know. Thank you Kind regards, Stella 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #69 Withdrawn Really cool! Not sure what else we'd change at this point. Gotta think on it a bit. Our current #1 choice! 4 years ago orca commented on #56 Withdrawn Hello TheRVgeeks, I am so sorry for the delay, I was take a rest. Kindly review #69, #70 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #56 Withdrawn Thanks so much for these latest updates! We like the sunglasses at this angle, giving an interesting 3D look to things. If you could add in the yellow shading on the RV from design #58, and see if you could try some other fonts for both the name & tagline. We're looking for a font for the name that looks custom, very much like you did in #58, but that particular font seemed a little difficult to read. The tagline font used here is very clear and readable, but looks very ordinary, like something people might see every day. Also, is there any chance of adding something out to the left behind the RV that evokes movement, to help make it look like the RV is moving from left to right? An italicized font might also help with that feeling of motion. Also, increasing the size of the letters "RV" so that they extend downward, even with the tagline, might help differentiate the "RV" from the "geeks" text. A color difference between "RV" and "geeks" might help, too, although we understand that could interfere with having the glasses stand out the way they do now. Thanks very much!! 4 years ago orca commented on #48 Withdrawn Hi TheRVgeeks, Kindly review #54, #55, #56, #57, #58 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #48 Withdrawn Thanks! We like the thicker lines for the outline of the RV, but we think we were mistaken about including the lower half. We'd remove that. We'd like to see more of the RV though (to be more clearly an RV), so how about if we accomplished that by raising the RV up a little higher above the lettering, thereby showing more of it sticking up.... maybe about half of the RV visible above the lettering. We'd also like to make it look more RV-like by completing the outlines of the two rooftop air conditioners (still thinner on the left, but coming back to just about touch the roof). We'd also like to see more color vs so much white space. How about adding a gradient inside each window that's light gray at the top, and fades to white just above the letters? Lastly, maybe a different font choice, and add the tag line back in, with a thin line separating it from the geeks text above it? Thanks so much! 4 years ago orca commented on #36 Withdrawn Hi TheRVgeeks, Kindly review #46, #47, #48 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #36 Withdrawn Very cool, modern look to the RV. We really like that. We'd love to see our yellow included for a little more color... possibly fill in the two "e"s? We also think the RV is a little reedy/thin looking and could be a problem at smaller sizes. Could we see it with slightly thicker, more pronounced lines? Also, it would help to more clearly evoke an "RV" by seeing more of it, which could be achieved by getting rid of the tagline altogether and showing the lower section of the RV, including tires. Also, the font for the "RVgks" text looks a little plain. 4 years ago orca commented on #4 Withdrawn Hi TheRVgeeks, Thank you for your feedback Kindly review #34, #35 Thank you 4 years ago TheRVgeeks commented on #4 Withdrawn We like the idea of incorporating the lettering with the RV. We also like the glasses evoking the idea of a "geek". We think if the RV looked more like an RV (it's a little hard to tell what it is right now), the color of the RV was something other than plain yellow (maybe a slightly different shape and a border around the yellow and solid black tires?), and the text was some other font it all might work really well. Currently the two "e"s look more "asian" than "geeky" to us. Also, maybe make the "RV" letters taller? 4 years ago
