Here are my initial designs for your consideration: #1 & #2. I had thread represent "Running" in a sleek, custom script font, and then I made a bold hand-stitched looking custom font for "STITCHES". I wanted it to be fun and memorable, yet professional and fitting for what it is that you do.
Let me know what you think, as I will be happy to provide revisions as requested. Thanks :)
This is a great start. #4 is my favorite at this point- love the g that ends in a needle. I would like for the word Stitches to be a little friendlier/softer since quilts are all about feeling good and loving beautiful things. Can you change the pink to a dark/medium rose color and the green to more earth tone green? Thank you, Carol
I made it softer and a little more playful, as I think the main font should be more welcoming in general. You made a great point about it needing to be friendlier.
I will see what other ideas I can come up with and post more ideas, if any of them seem worthy! Thanks again for the quick feedback; I look forward to seeing what you think of this latest version.
The new fonts were a little too informal and playful. Do you have something with a softer but adult/professional look? I still like the original colors the best, can you find a dark rose/sage green? Not sure I am using the correct words, but want the colors to be eyecatching, but more organic??? Hope this helps.
I am still working on some better font choices, but I wanted to see what you think of this color scheme: #36. I like they way they go together, but I wanted make sure these were closer to the colors you are envisioning. I will post some new font options soon.
I am so sorry but I think I will go with another design. Thank you so much for the time and work you put into this contest and for your prompt and positive responses. I am sorry to not pick your design, but I bet that you win many contests - thanks again.
No problem, Carol. That is the nature of the site :)
If I think of any other ideas worth posting, I will certainly do so before the contest ends.
Also, just a little opinion to possibly help your top logo read better: you should have them submit a version where the needle is the same color as the rest of the word "Stitches". Otherwise, from far away, it reads more like "Stitchcs". Just my opinion though! You can decide for yourself once you see it.
You really are a good guy. I still like your designs but the colors I chose are just not turning out the way I thought. Do you have another color scheme in mind - I know the possibilities are endless - but the words I am thinking of are pretty, bright, cheerful, friendly, inviting... I like blue and yellow, yellow and green with some black or darker shades mixed in to give it depth, really open to another direction at the last minute. Thanks so much for your efforts.
Thanks, Carol. I have submitted a variety of new color-scheme ideas that I felt conveyed one, or some, or even all of those things. My apologies if this becomes overwhelming with all of the new entries, but I wanted to let you have as many nice options to choose from as possible.
Surely you are taking your time to make a decision, as to which logo is the best fit for you. I just wanted to remind that you can still request revisions from your top-ranked designer. So, if there is anything else you are hoping to see, don't be afraid to ask! Anyone that you put into 1st place can submit additional designs for you during Judging Mode.
