Thanks for your comment. Cartoon-ish is not necessarily a negative. We have had logos of this nature in the past. We are primarily looking for a one or two color logo that can be easily used for multiple applications - promotional materials, t-shirts, etc. We would like to see "20th Annual", "2016", and "5/10km trail race" included in the logo.

my style is more 'cartoon'ish and it seems that is not what you are ranking high... not sure it is worth my time... but maybe one more.
