Its definitely between this one and the octagonal one, but I cannot help but feel like this one reminds me of a baseball!

I got it as a vector from bigstock so it is NOT my design but I have the license to use it. I'd rather change it to make it unique.

Can you do me a favor and try some renditions with an old wood working tool in lieu of the rooster? Just want to see what other graphics would look good.

I am very glad you like it. Here is a revision. Please note that there is distrsed texture all over the logo. If I add more it will look like holes in big size. That is your choice of course!
