I'm not sure what you mean by putting border around the edges. Could you explain what edges do you mean?

Thank you for your feedback. I made requested revisions with different shades of gold - with and without gradients. Please let me know if this is not what you had in mind. I drew original "sun wheel" specially for your contest so you won't find anything similar on the web.
