I have selected this image. Thank you very much. I am very happy with it.
If you feel comfortable, would you be able to provide the shaded and non-shaded options? Also, would you be willing to provide the man by himself without the words behind it? I could imagine using the picture of the man in other applications, like stationary or something. Thank you very much!
So far this color scheme is still my favorite. I like this one the way it is. Can you do some variations with the size of the figure just so I can see some alternatives? I think if I had to pick between with or without shading, I would go without, but I do like both options. Thank you
This is the one. Shading makes the figure appear leaner so if you prefer it like that I can adjust the visual difference by editing the silhouette here.
First, all logos are delivered in vector formats. That means each logo has infinite resolution or in other words everything always remains sharp - even in billboard size.
As for the additional versions/alterations many designers don't mind to deliver them free though we can not make any promises during the contest run. It would be like trying to bribe contest holder.
I’m not familiar with logotournament’s policy - would I be able to get both the designs with and without shading to use for different size prints? Or should I pick the one that I’m most likely to use the most? Thanks again!
I've explored some color options as you had suggested. In some entries I've made a silhouette slightly larger (#119#118). I've also pronounced a bit more muscle definition.
You can use both versions of the logo alternatively. Small, one color prints like letterhead can go without body shading while bigger resolutions can utilize more complex design.
I like both these versions! I can't really decide if I like the shadow more or not. What is your thinking?
Also, would you mind doing a couple different colors for the ROTH font just so I can see how it looks before I commit to the red? I was thinking one with a little more black in the red, so a little closer to Harvard's deep crimson color, and also a purple/blue, like the Penn State Nittany Lions color. Any other color scheme you like?
I made joints pronounced in some entries as you requested. In my entries I used serif and sans serif fonts. Usually serif fonts are more associated with medicine and health and sans serif appeal more to the performance side. I'm not sure what message you want to convey but that's how it usually goes.
Also covering "R" with hand gives a bit more dynamic impression as you can see in some entries of mine.
Could you also do one for me to see with your runner to the left, and ROTH in italic block letters to the right, and SPORTS MEDICINE in smaller italic block font below it?
I really like the sprinter here. I just think the “R” is maybe a little too difficult to read still? I want the emphasis on the name ROTH to really stand out from across the room, and I just worry someone has to look at this for a few seconds before they can tell it’s an R.
I wonder about putting the runner in the “O” ?
As far as anatomy, I like the more abstract picture you have here. One thing I saw in another design I liked though was basically a dot in each of the joints (shoulder, hip, knee, elbow, ankle) with some line between them that gave some sense of emphasis on the joints... which is the primary thing I fix.
Thanks for your feedback. I've made runner more aggressive just like a sprinter you suggested. I try to keep it simple and symbolic. Please let me know if prefer it more detailed anatomy wise.
