I like the initial concept. May prefer to drop the tag line. Would be interested in seeing a design without it. In the symbol, the arm of the lowercase r looks a tad short perhaps?

Re new designs #3 through #7, I like the extended arm of the 'r' better than in initial design. Without the tag line, not sure if the empty space above ROGER HAMMONS feels balanced or not. Would appreciate thoughts on this. One of the things did not like about current logo is the weight imbalance between original symbol and company name. You've done a better job. Eager to see any revision you might have to improve/change visual balance even further. Regarding color variations, you've given me a lot to consider. I will seek some feedback from associates before ranking the many variations. Thanks for your suggestions! -- Roger

Re #8, the circular design has a nice feel, too. Willing to consider and see what my associates think. To my eye the visual balance with circular design is interesting and dynamic. -- Roger

A -- Kudos! #78 through #81 provide a strikingly stylish set of logos that I very much enjoy. Let me give you some first impressions. The symbol in #78 is elegant all by itself. I think this is such a strong design. I wonder what it would look like against a white background. I believe that your intention was that the extra flourish can be read by itself as a lowercase 'h' as well as an uppercase 'H' when it borrows the left downstroke and lower arc of the 'R'. I'm wondering if slight tweak might emphasize the latter aspect: Extend the length of the loop of the 'h' and rotate it counterclockwise a little bit to be more parallel with the 'R' downstroke. Without seeing it, I think that would increase the appeal of this (already strong) design to me. (My initial reaction to the design was why such a small and lowercase 'h' -- which was distracting given that I couldn't see the 'H' for awhile.)

I really like the frame that you've added in #79, too. Both #78 and #79 work so it's hard for me to decide which I prefer. Re #79, I wonder if maybe the white stroke around the 'R' and 'h' is a bit too strong.

The two-color symbol is nice in the pair #80 and #81. I might prefer the less colorful #78 and #78 but it is hard to say right now. I will be admiring both pairs for awhile to see what might preferences are then! Do you think the grey/gold combination might work better that the dark brown? I'd be interested in seeing perhaps a more subtle pair for a softer look.

Again, bravo. Your ideas continue to impress. -- Roger

Re #82 through #87, very nice. I do think the slight tweaks of the loop on the 'h' improve the design. And all the variations look sophisticated and attractive. I agree with you that the simple pastel gold is very effective on both backgrounds. A little bit nitpicky but perhaps the loop of the 'h' is now a bit tight against the 'R'? Maybe rotating the loop just a tiny bit back would be the happy balance. -- Best, Roger

Thanks for the work! I haven't been able to study the slight revisions of the R H h script designs in detail side-by-side by I picked one for the top-5 since the openness and balance of the design now seems excellent. Re #104 and #105, this is an attractive design concept. The easy going script is nice. It's a bit less refined perhaps but still pleasing. The backwards slant strikes me as off message regarding my perceived brand, so I prefer other designs to this concept. -- Best, Roger

Your series #3 through #7 were very popular among my associates. I was wondering if you had ideas for further refinements not that you've seen the initial rankings? Also any refinements to #102 that you'd like to suggest! -- Best, Roger

Wonderful! I look forward to seeing what you have in mind! One thing I'd be interesting in seeing is if there is an alternate font that you might also suggest in your #4 and #102 for the ROGER HAMMONS portion. Possibly looking for a bit more elegance without drastic deviation. -- Best, Roger

Thanks! I do like the chalet font, so I see this suggestion more as an avenue of possible exploration if you had other fonts in mind. Please explore what you think are the most meaningful enhancements (need not be fonts if that takes us on a tangent). I trust your judgment! -- Roger

Thanks for the creative revisions! Your #183 is a lovely update to the #5 series. It is a definite contender along with #102 for the final logo design even though I've ranked it lower (trying to give my favorite designers their due in top dozen or so).

Variations #178 through #181 are sharp looking, but I prefer the simpler styling of #183 and #5.

#182 is a pretty update to my existing logo. I very much like it, but in U.S. the hotel chain Holiday Inn has adopted a script H in a box similar to this design, so this is probably not a logo option I'll pursue.

The font for ROGER HAMMONS is very nice in these new designs.

Best,
Roger
