IF you let me know his Hebrew name we can incorporate it into the design as well. Feedback would be appreciated. and Mazel Tov!

#11-We like much of what you have incorporated here. Could we lose the jewish star, and make the outlines of the buildings a bit more "grafitti." Also, could be wrong but if the domed building is the vatican, let's lose that too. Perhaps Big Ben, or the Chystler building, or the Tower Bridge or the Golden Gate Bridge. I like having his name "Robby" in the design, he would prefer to use only his initials, RDA. Your thoughts?? Also, could use the date of the BM, 9.10.11 (9/10/11) instead of "Going Places." Just a thought, your ideas are welcome. Thanks,

#4-There is something about the flavor of this that I really like. We had hoped to incorporate the outline of a few famous international landmarks (the Sydney Opera House, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, etc.) Can you think of a way to add that to your logo?

#1-We actually like the black box a lot! We are thinking that it you leave the black box, move the "Robby, Going Places" Down a bit, then have the outline (in white) of the landmark buildings (Sydney Opera House, Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, etc) growing out behind the text. Also could we add the date 9.10.11?? Thanks, it is looking good. This logo will go on a white sweatshirt so I think the black box will look great.

Shannon thanks for all the feedback I will look at it and try to make adjustments. As I am a Jewish educator of 6th graders, I would love to keep something Jewish in the design but I understand the 13 year old who really doesn't want to stress that part... (sigh... I can hope can't I?)
When you say you like the black box... do you like the bar mitzvah raising the Torah or is that too "Jewish" for Robby? Every teenager is a bit different in the response...

Watch for more version to come based on your input...

OH and the Dome is Jerusalem Dome of the Rock above the Western Wall but I can change it to SF Bridge or Big Ben - ( I am located just south of SF)

#13-At Carol Kantor-I just saw your comments not, hadn't seen it before. Thanks for the clarification on the building. I understand the dilemna with the "too jewish"thing. Yes, you can hope. . . .

Thanks!

#13-forgive me if these comments are repeated. I wrote them once and now they don't seem to have saved. Could we move the words back into the black box? Also, I am struggling with whether or not to have the "Going Places" or the 9.10.11. Is there a way to incorporate both that you can think of? We LOVE the Robby just the way it is. I am picturing putting the text back in the larger black box (as in the first one) but moving it down a bit. Then, can the buildings all share the same horizon and sort of fan out in t semi circle behind (on top of) the "Robby"? I'm thinking that we should lose the BM kid (sorry :-() let me know your thoughts.

thanks

#11-I love the way you did the 9.10.11! I'm still pondering whether I like way you got rid of the jewish star. I asked, you delivered now I'm not sure. I'm going to think about it for the day. I like the whole thing. However, what isn't sitting with me is that it looks a bit too child-like for the affair, I think. Can you think of a way to make the whole thing look a bit more edgy, grown up-think cool NYC night club.

this is a different approach - using a Romero-like art approach. Maybe this would look great done on a translucent polycarb with back lighting for your event... we can help with those type things if the design is picked!
