Like the idea of an hourglass. Overall though it is too gradient heavy and we are not crazy about the font.

Like the hourglass idea, but not the overall layout. Font should be more interesting. Everything is a bit too boxy.

First logo tournament here, so excuse me if I'm out of line. My initial though was its way too flat, and to use more color as needed. We are going for steampunk, so I am open to the Edison bulb, but overall it looks like it's thrown together pretty quick.

Again, I'm new to this so, I realize you may just be throwing together an idea to see what sticks, and not going for a finalized design just yet. Please let me know if that assumption is correct.
